- Are there any plans to add a bank to the game?
We don’t plan on adding a bank to the game – we already have an inventory system which functions in a very similar manner. We feel the additional work for the bank (which would be UI intensive, for example) does not warrant the resources to implement it when we could instead put those resources on, for example, new content.
We do have a task created for adding filters to the inventory, but we don't have a viable ETA for this addition.
- Will there be armor mods/armors with mods in the future?
Outfits are intended to be cosmetic: a visual way to define your Arkhunter. Adding bonuses to them would cause conflict between the look vs the mechanical benefit they provided - and we wouldn’t want you wearing an outfit you don’t like.
However, we understand that bonuses tied to armor would be nice – and we plan on introducing further character modifications with a future update. These could be considered “armor” mods, but they would be more accurately compared to Cybernetics.
- Could we have a feature to select the number of active loadouts?
This is a really good idea, and we've added a task for this!
- Can consumable charges automatically be picked up or salvaged?
We prefer to give players the tactical choice of when to pick up the charges they see on the ground. Additionally, charges picked up when you have maxed out your charge stack are automatically salvaged. If the charges are automatically picked up, then we rob our players of choice. Stopping to pick up charges is a risk, and players may choose the best time to take that risk.
- What are the conditions to reach bonus waves 4 and 5 at minor arkfalls?
It depends by arkfall and by the number of players present at the arkfall. Generally, the condition is to defeat the enemies in wave three quickly.
- Are there any plans to add any further content and value to the existing DLCs or are they finished?
We don’t have any immediate plans to add further content directly to the DLC’s, since that content has been released. Instead, we would rather add new content to the game – which we will be announcing soon!
- Are there any plans to implement any of the power armor seen in concept images?
We may add more power armor outfits, like the SPD Heavy Trooper, but many of the outfits shown in concept were discarded prior to launch (all for varying reasons) and will not be revived.
- Could player triangles be customized to reflect veterancy or achievements?
Yes, this is an interesting idea. No promises, but we can certainly consider it. Feel free to start a new thread in the suggestions section of the forums with some mock-ups or ideas!
- Will the Extra Life event this year feature anything different from last year?
Yes it will! We will be announcing what’s happening with Extra Life soon!
- Could we have a companion NPC that can fight alongside us during solo content?
Probably not. There are various reasons - one of which is the number of characters we display on screen (i.e. at the least, we would need to consider the worst case of each onscreen character having a potentially additional unique companion).
However, we have discussed turret-style spikes and other similar mechanics, which are similar to this!
- Can we have a privacy setting to block jumping to your character?
Currently, you have three means of preventing a player from using the various “Go To Player” options:1. Don’t group with that player.
2. Don’t friend that player.
3. Don’t be in a clan with that player.
If none of these three things are true, then a player will not be able to teleport to your position. Ark hunters have no room for frienemies!
- Will we ever see non-telescopic optics? I'm talking red dot and holographic sights here.
This is unlikely. That form of sighting is represented with the standard aim.
