How Does One Go About Getting Orange Grenades?

I have been playing casually since pretty close to the beginning. I have never seen an orange grenade. Are these something you usually have to trade with other players to get? I also haven't traded 1 item since I started playing. I usually just sell most of my loot for next to nothing at the vendors. This is pretty much the last thing I need for the last EGO pursuit. Seems like I will never get orange grenades in each slot, if I have played this long without seeing one. Anyone else run into the same issue?

T4 boxes
Espionage boxes
if you get really lucky in a full incursion / siege prizes

I'm too I'm hunting for one as well :p

And, you don't need one "for each slot" You only need to equip 2 orange weapons, a shield, and a grenade.

I know a lot of ppl that borrowed one from a friend just to complete the pursuit.

t4 ? titans dont drop bombs >.< but i did get a orange shot gun out of a blue box the 24 keys and 2000 scrip box

Oh, this is good to know, so we don't need orange stims and spikes?

i al;sao newer seen orange grenades ans i propobly used thousands of lock boxes

i have one orange grenade and the rest purple. things are rare like a living cow.

If all you care about is the pursuit, then find a player that is willing to let you borrow one for about 30 seconds. Or just ask in zone chat if anybody is selling an orange grenade. I know on Xbox most of them can be bough for between 5k and 25k depending on the grenade and the person selling it. Personally, most of mine, that I bought for my main character, I payed for 10k - 15k a piece. I've also had clanmates that just give oranges to clanmates so the aren't auto-salvaged in seven days or what ever the counter is set at.

There are no orange spikes and stims :) Only green and blue versions.

As for orange grenades: I got mine out of boxes. Mostly T3 boxes.
But as Atticus already said: Some people will sell them in zone chat for sure. I've seen a lot of people wanting to sell some on PC EU also.

I'm sure grenades can't drop from an incursion or a siege.

Only T3, T4, Corporate Espionage lockboxes and Faction caches.

they do, if you end up with high enough score, you'll get a T4 box

I have managed to get hold of orange flash-bangs and orange frags but tbh i have no idea where they came from, i have been playing for a couple of months on and off a couple of hours a day and my ego is only at 1350, I've purchased the Arkbreaker and Gunslinger DLC's, whether they were enabled because of one of them i don't know..loving it overall!! I'm pretty sure i didn't get the orange grenades from a lock box so maybe they were dropped from an ark-fall, the great thing is that they automatically re stock as orange whenever i buy new stock or find them in a battle..

Oranges don't EVER drop. They were either a reward item or came from a lockbox or faction catche box. Orange grenades automatically replace the lower rarity of that nade in your inventory. I believe arkbreaker and gunslinger both came with lockboxes as well. So they either came from one of your free boxes or one that you bought.

I only have 2 orange grenades, but I have had them for awhile now. I got them before the change.

I always end up in top leaderboard but never got a grenade in the chace.

I have orange bio, cluster, flashbang, and hatchling grenades. I got them by buying a ton of T2 lockboxes with keys. Now that T2 lockboxes don't drop oranges you will have to buy a ton of T3 lockboxes.

Remember when you could get 500 forge and 10 oranges in a day from T2 lockboxes and events? Good old times

Heh...the only grenades I have that aren't orange are frag and pyro. Naturally, the latter is the one I use in my primary PvE loadout. =P

Before the massive cost inflation for lockboxes (but after arkforge was introduced), I used to buy Tier 2 boxes in enormous quantities in order to get more of the arkforge/grenade/spike/stim rolls. Mostly I was looking for arkforge, but a by-product was eventually "OJ-ing" most of my grenades. Sadly, with the absurd cost to convert salvage to keys these days and no OJs in T2s, I just buy T4s when I naturally accumulate enough keys. A vastly lower rate of lockbox purchases (and the fact that I'm doing more PvP than PvE these days, so fewer sieges, arkfalls, etc) means I may never see those orange frags and pyros.

Chances are probably just as good or bad (depending how you look at it) as it'll be from a T4 box

I have OJ grenades of all types except shrill grenades, but I've been playing for a year. Mostly I got them from T-4 boxes I bought with bits and script, although if I got OJ extra grenades, I would give them to clan mates and they would give me an extra they had and I didn't. :)

I'm trying a new approach, when buying lockboxes I'm keeping nades, stims and spikes full and unequipped. In these few hours I have done this all my nades went from white/blue to purple and now my stims are being upgraded. So I really hope this will make me get oj nades from lockboxes from now on! Wish me luck I will keep u updated and tell you if it worked.

A lot of clannies were stuck on this one. I've been able to get oj pyro and bio grenades from t4 boxes. Being able to trade back and forth between clannies so they could finally check this off was a stress reliever for them.

Has anyone even seen an orange Shrill? I don't know anyone who has that one. Maybe I need to start spamming game chat to buy one. PC.

That was my first one. I have sold another.

Just missing Flashbang and Hatchling from my collection.

My very first Orange weapon in this game was a Orange flashbang grenade. I don't even use it. The only reason I even hold on to it is because I know how hard it is to find orange grenades. I only keep it to let clan members or friends use it to complete the Ego Evolution VI contract. You know the one that requires you to equip all orange items in all slots in order to get the cool outfit?

If any of you need to complete ego evolution VI and you're missing a orange grenade, just send me a message in game and I will let you use mine long enough to equip it and to complete the contract.

I got mine from the expert lockbox after my ego was in the 4,000
I bought two lockboxes in a row just to get rid of the keys.
