This is a rant don't like it don't read it

I have been through some pretty rough mmo launches...I was around for the original everquest (yeah im old) but what Trion has to realize is that the average xbox 360 gamer does not have alot of experience with mmo's if any at all and will not have the patience that a seasoned mmo player like myself has.....for every hour that goes by with these problems you will lose players....they will go back to their BF3, COD, Halo games and say "yeah I tried out Defiance it really sucked it's broken". I have been educating people on my friends list convincing them not to return their games and have patience but times running out Trion.....better hurry!

To the OP I'm sorry that you haven't been able to experience Defiance like some of us others have. I guess I'm apart of the minority that doesn't have a lot of issues playing this game. I didn't have any patch issues and, the only time I have server issues is in the evenings when the user count gets really high, and servers overload. I truly believe once they figure out the server problems then there will be less complaining about this game, cause if you actually get a couple hours into the game you see how good of a game it is ,and also how good it can be. If people could be a little more patient I think they will be surprised with the outcome of all the work the developers are putting into fixing problems. MMO's are given some kind of room for issues when a game launches, less so with a company that has been there done that. I mean seriously, lets not ignore the fact that Trion should have been ready for server issues, considering they already have an MMO out there in Rift.

Also they are going to Console gamers with this game, the same ones that aren't used to major massive issues like we see in MMO's.

Personally this has got to be one of the worst launches to an MMO I've ever seen, I've played EQ 2, FF 11, Rift, WOW, all on release day and none of them even came close to the issues I'm currently seeing in this game. I hope they can fix them but jeez Trion should really know better. How did they get Rift's release so right, and fail so horribly with Defiance.

Totally agree that they should not have released this game. I have lost 50 dollars worth of Microsoft point also which I have had open tech concerns for 3 days and still no response. I'm hoping the place I purchased this pile of crap will let me return it and give ,e full refund

Evidently I am also one of the few that are not having any problems with the game it runs pretty darn good. Yes every once in a while there may be 1/16 of a second lag but I have only seen that in large groups. I am also a veteran to MMO starting back with Ultima Online, EQ, EQ2, WOW, Eve Online.... this release is by far the best I have seen for a MMO. :cool:

This game is horrific! i understand this game just came out and is supposed to have problems but not like this. its way to bad... to many problems even for a just released OPEN WORLD SHOOTER! its not a MMO its a Open world shooter people!

im already on my second disk! why when i got home the disk was scratched to ****! people say its your gaming company or on the travel it got scratched... Uhh hello? they shipped hundreds to the store... they would all have to be damaged to gotten damaged from the travels... so i don't know but some ****head scratched it and sent it anyway.

Now how bout that region lock? i knew from the start this game wont last long and will have MANY MANY MANY problems but this is toooo much holy crap. we want region lock off and they just gave us a F***ing crap answer and moved on just like all the other problems that we want fixed.. Trion is a horrible company and when people tell them off the remove the post and Ban people... im sorry.. but im finished with this game and this company its horrible and im ashamed that i have even bought it im sick of it.! and this game will not make it past 2-3 months TOPS! lets BRING ON DESTINY!

Smooth? Wow, you most have not played alot then lol, this is the worst I have seen. Still staying with the game no matter what but they need to do something or people will leave witch will make the game **** when no one comes to help in ArkFalls.

I read your thread Gearhead and it sounds like were all in the same boat with people that dont understand how things work. I do find it funny how he said BRING ON DESTINY at the end. You do realize that ACTIVISION bought BUNGIE so they could make a HALO replica without calling it Halo ? Im assuming since you are pumped for that game you probably like Call of Duty .. Which explains alot about you as a person and why you made this horrible thread.
