I seem to always stay here and there is stuff popping up all the time to shoot and get experience. is there another place to stay that is good at where things start happening every 5 minutes or so?

The same goes just outside of the Overpass, just to the North. They always have roadside emergences between the Incursions and Majors. Also just outside of Water Temple fast travel point in Silicon Valley. They have a roadside minutes after you complete the previous ones.
Iron Demon seems like the place because of the emergency spawn spot right across the street.
Bug and chug has 2 emergency spawn locations right up the road.
Last chance has several bad guys if you exit to the right rather than the left.
There is almost always a hellbug emergency at the bottom of the hill from Shondus.
And, similarly, 99'ers down from Top Notch off to the upper left.
I know several of your clan mates. One thing you might mention to them, purely for XP is to do a Death March. Start at Earth Republic and walk down to Bug n Chug, killing everything in your path.
I used to do it by myself a lot. Had a lot of fun.
Also, the road that leads out from Iron Demon...the dirt road. Take that straight up to the paved road. There's usually an emergency there. Follow that road to the right towards Ridgecrest Mines and there are several emergencies along that road.
I used to head out from IDR and follow that route, ending up at Ridgecrest. Doing Ridgecrest and then heading back to IDR. Great way to pass the time!
sea scapes farm area is good to farm i use too have fun there with my mass cannon till they changed the rockets :(
The Fork in San Fran is less safe than Iron Demon. Stuff is always spawning right next to it, so you can always kill hellbugs or scrappers there.
They still spawn there? I haven't seen an emergency there in months..Quote:

I liked it the old way but I can see how it would bother some people.
I like hanging at Iron Demon.
I'll normally take a perch on the big rock across from the ammo and contemplate life, the universe and everything...
...while I'm waiting for the next co-op to start!
Head first crater near bug n chug is a great place to level weapons up, especially rockets and bmgs etc, Killing lots of skitters every 1-2 mins.
