so what one are you all going to be hunting for are you all excited to take on the hukers and the pumpkins ? this should be a fun event. and its going to give a nice had full og players a reason to finaly loot hunt.

I wonder if there is time frame limit or a cooldown for [4] purge

unless that is "Syphon" which makes these guns dual Nano ?:confused:

im thinking its a duel nano. o.o much like my beloved north star flair is. but this time u need a mod. if thy would hurry up and drop it onto PTS i could find out .

So I wonder, are the rolls fixed? That assault rifle has no recoil in it, so it will handle like a perforator. That is to say, poorly. And the nano is not the best choice either, although I get the whole hell fire thing. If the rolls are set, then Trion astonishingly STILL doesn't grasp what makes a weapon good. Wow...I'll stick with my array of Sumimotos...

you know... it's for the holiday season, it's not like they are making a new line of weapon that are permanently available all the time

the theme needs to fit the occasion, and fire makes the perfect choice IMO

i see santa outfits for the male toons and sexy santas for the female toons. along with a tinsel gernade , the ho ho ho candycane :D shot gun hehe rudophs little red nose a bmg , the happy elf sniper. a vehical that looks like a slay and while it goes you hear the chuch chuch chuch of the bells :D hehe

an event like the hulker one (( if its what i think it will be )) with hulkers in santa suites carrying gient candy canes for weapons and insted of pumpkins, colorful pacages fall and in the sky and in the background you hear santa sled bells dueing the event

... so many ideas >.<

The new boomer is gonna be sick if it comes in purge synergy. The one they showed us is assasin. It says there's infectors too, hopefully no cankers, the regular ones are tough enough. Glad to see some holiday stuff. Nice job devs!

Surprised no one has noticed that Ghost Duster has a 15.4 Fire Rate. This looks more like a TACC Assault Rifle but the damage and description says different. If this is Full-auto than this AR with a recoil mastery maybe better than the Sumimotos.

... gods help us all..... there is no life at the end of that happy rainbow that we beleave this new event will be..... the words.. that i feel... the ... shame.. the pain... the death.. it cant be exspressed

but ill find the words some how.

this event is hell. hell on defiance. it is.. death. and pain.
there are still things that need to be fixed in it befor it hits live.. but .. im going to put it out there.. that this thing is a mad house.

im also puting out a full invite to anyone and every one that is part of the PTS server . tomarrow. ill be on it all day trying to win the event. we need an army. so im puting it out there. ANYONE and EVERYONE that has a toon on PTS come join in and test this event. along with me.

How do you get the "Legendary" guns anyway? 0,1% chance of dropping from the hallowen bit crates or?

They can drop from the mobs in the Hulker Arkfalls as well.

Lol, I noticed... And no, it won't be better than a Sumi. If you put an orange recoil stock on that weapon AND get recoil as the experience roll, the bloom will still be 0.10, like a perforator. Hence, the comparison. Although the increased firing rate will make it handle effectively far worse than a perforator...
Also, no reload rolls...so you will spend much of your time standing there reloading it and then firing it wildly...it needs a minimum of blue recoil 0.10 to be remotely accurate when doing extended through the scope firing. Also, a three to one firing to reload ratio is ideal, in my opinion...

For me its gotta be the new Saw...and I want several. 6 toons and dual wielding would be 12 please. =)

little spoiler the blackhellfire weapons rolls are all random . no one on PTS managed to get the ojs yet so we dont know if there rolls are random too. o.o so.. ya... if thy are. dont exspect the rolls from the images.

and the mods for all the new halloween weapons are all purge. so fare. the mods are droped from WINING the new arkfalls (( minors and majors ))

The Hellfire guns have random rolls, the handcrafted ones (from the images in the blog post) have fixed stats.
There are two kinds of legendaries.
That's how I understand the blog post :)

I like the name of some of the weapons, I like the synergy, I like some of the Jack-O-Lantern helmets.

I dont like fire nanos, I dont like OJs (IM not a Hyper Survivalist elitest like the Holnist army founded by Nathan Holnist, they use nothing but OJ gear), I hate killer Clowns, any Clown really, I hate anything that has to do with clowns, what the hell is with the Satanic BS in the Artical about the Halloween stuff were getting? Halloween, including trick or treating came about British Catholics uprising agianst the British empire.

Lastly I hate the name of the new synergy we are getting "Purge." I love what the synergy does, BUT now I have that stupid kids face from that stupid Michael Bay produced "PURGE" movie series. "PlEaSe JuSt LeT mE PURGE." -_-

Better names for this synergy would have been "Nightmare" " Grim Reaper" "Reaper" "Slayer" "Ketch" (People who were tasked with executing people in the British Empire during midieval times had there name or part of there name changed to Ketch,) "Nosferatu."

Please add a Van Helsing style hat, face mask, cloak, and a Semi Auto sniper that looks like a Crossbow. Bram Stoker's Dracula Van Helsing wardrobe would make for great inspiration, but "Van Helsing" is also good.

I know ILL probably have to wait till next year for my final suggestion but oh well...

I'll be aiming for the grinning Jack O Lantern helmet as well as the Assault Rifle and possibly the Sub Machine Gun.

I don't care about the helmets, but the outfits look cool.

If the weapons are random rolled, then they have some potential. The synergy is interesting!

I have a feeling there is a hidden "catch" here somewhere. I guess we'll find out on the 29th.
