I literally cannot even get on the server to play my game due to critical server errors. Then once a miracle happens and the server lets me in I play for 2 minutes and get kicked out. I hope they fix these problems soon or I'll consider the game a waste of money and time which sucks because I was really looking forward to having an mmo on console with good gameplay and a fun community that I would come back and play for years.
I've been playing constantly except for the mandatory downtime last night and whatever just caused the servers to go down a little while ago.
today I had more issues then yesterday but I have still been able to play, they will fix the issues just give them time it's an MMO Diablo 3 and Simcity had worst launches IMO
They are fixing it.Considering I played all day today with no problem is a testiment to it.What all the complainers need to do is learn some paitence and learn to read.Trion already said they are working to fix any issues with the game.instead of reading it people like you just post non stop *****ing.Obviously you are not very experienced with mmos or would realize every mmo starts out with lag issues the first week it's out.Hell world of warcraft had worse servers then defiance the first month.WoW still has ****tier servers.
yeah big game launches suck, but theres no really way to stress test a server with out releasing the game like this, from launch day being extremely laggy to now having good gameplay sometimes and some server drops there doing well and dev team is always on here updating us so yeah good work for the crew and it will take a few more days of this and well be golden
i am not on Defiance intermittent payment plan. I fully paid for the game like everyone else, so i expect full game play. If the consumer does not get what they paid for, they have the right to complain. I don't care which MMO started off like crap. That's just research of the others to do better. If i was told at gamestop that this was going to be an issue, i would have decided then if i wanted the stress or not. If decided the get it, i would not complain at that point. you are just swinging on Defiance's tip like Tarzan because got game play time. If you barely got in a few minutes in like a lot of us on a brand new game(that you cant even play offline), you would be complaining too.
How would you suggest they fix them? With a patch or update maybe? Like the one they are doing right now. Because that is why the servers are down. They gave us a heads up on the forums, twitter, and in game chat.Quote:

You know it's really difficult for them when so many people just rush the servers? With so many players and so many different servers, it's not that easy to manage and fix every little problem for everyone. Just wait at least over a week for their servers to stabilize from the charge of release date players.
Funny that you bring up doing research yet here you are dissapointed with a game that, with research, you could have found out would have had launch issues before you purchased it. I haven't had much game time either but guess what, I was prepared for it. Not dissapointed in the least bit. Funny how that works.Quote:
