Part 1 of the finale was fun, and superb..........

Part 2 was the opposite to that. It did have good moments but it just felt like a whole bunch of random stuff that happens and a loose thread connects them to make a story.

I still feel very mixed about the second part...

Peter Capaldi was a fantastic choice to play the Doctor but he got given really bad scripts..

Oh, this does not bode well. :(

You know, I still have not been able to watch yet. We had an early arctic blast hit today so I had to do a lot of outside work this weekend to prep.

Tonight should be clear until Prime Time... I hope anyway. :)

Thank you for your honesty. :D

Well, I'm back! :D Had to go out of town unexpectedly and didn't have access to a computer or internet. :(

OMG! In the words of the "Comic book guy" from the Simpsons: "Worst episode ever." It was such a craptastic season finale!

They should have called Part 1 "Loose ends..." and Part 2 "All tied up." My friend's husband actually stopped the playback and started ranting when it came to the saluting of the general part. Now THAT was funny! :D

I hope that somehow Missy was able to survive because I loved her "Mad Mary Poppins" portrayal especially when she showed up at the graveyard with the parasol. I thought THAT was the best part of that whole debacle. :D

Next season/series, the writers need to try harder. Sheesh! :p

Sorry to necro this thread, but I'm a huge Whovian. I even got my best friend into Doctor Who and she swore she'd never watch it because she thought it was boring but now she's hooked! I recently got her to play Defiance with me too since it went free to play on the Xbox 360. We started a DW themed clan too in the game called Time Lords of Paradise. If anyone plays on the 360 and would be interested in joining, let me know!

I am a huge fan. I even have the first Dr. Who movie that went to VHS here in the US. I watched all of the episodes, and movies that I know of.

I would love it if Netflix would unlock all of the original episodes, instead of just a few so that I can see if there are some I have missed over the years. My mom use to watch it every time it came on, and I would watch it with her. She was the one that got me hooked on it, and I have thanked her many times.

I would join your clan, but I only have two characters, and one is going into another clan today, and the other is in a clan I started with my brother a few days ago. Otherwise, I would so be there. lol.
