Patch and contents update concerns for PC players , Consoles politics NO THANKS !

We all know thats , Consoles are pain in the *** when it come to patch and update contents Both microsoft and sony ask for 2 weeks delay to have their QA aprooval wich is always mediocre and they still release the contents broken on those platform QA or not

But my concern here is do we will have to wait for Microsoft and Sony aprooval on consoles to have our update and ad on contents on PC , we saw EA recently using those kind of practice when the patch for pc was ready for about weeks , they have delay it to have a (( simultaneous launch )) across all platform

As a overall gamers ive always tough this QA from microsoft and sony was a bad joke and as a Futur defiance PC players i do not want to have to be limited by lame and stupid consoles politics such as their 2 to 3 week QA crap


Please do not make the pc community suffer from this delaying whats ready for us ;) thanks

I think you have to worry more about the show than consoles. The game and the show are interlinked.

I know exactly what you mean. If history shows us anything its that pc games still get patched/updates before consoles on other games. As this wont be crossplatform I don't see why this wouldn't still be the case.

Given that they intend to coordinate much of the content with the show, I'm hoping they're going to be working out the content far enough in advance that it will be delayed for both.

If i ever see you post something that isn't bashing a console i may die of shock.

On Topic: I've known PC to always get their patches beforehand and I expect that to continue.
But if you are talking about gameplay updates & adding new features to the game, then i assume you will have to wait.

First - unlike other games there are quite a few updates/patches we can apply that don't require Microsoft/Sony lead time as they are done on our servers/database.

Second - we've been working with these folks for a while and feel as though we have created a great working relationship that will hopefully aid everyone down the road.

Are we talking about the same MS & Sony? *lol*?

You are both correct and incorrect, yes ms and Sony have their certification processes that Trion will have to put major fixes through before we get them. However, minor balance changes can be done server side the same way Mass Effect 3 does theirs.

I am going to assume that the add-ons for Defiance will be synchronized with each other, only if they have to do with anything happening In the show.
