it took them over 3 weeks to repair rift and most servers are dead because the way the game was developed. also you figured when they released RIFT they would of caught on and known how to stop server issues.

If you don't pay for a subscription, its free to play. You obviously haven't figured that out yet. Also, Xbox games are NEVER free to obtain. Final Fantasy wasn't free and neither was Phantasy Star Universe. Those required subscriptions, yes, but Defiance is only making pay for purchasing the game. Thus it's free to play.
If you want a refund, you probably shouldn't have agreed to something of which you did not read(cough_pops_up_after_the_patch_cough_the_bindi ng_"contract"_coughcough).
You know that End User License Agreement isn't just like a "youtube video that's too long"?
You probably shouldn't skip through it.
It's insane, who doesn't read Terms of Services, Terms of Use, Privacy Policies, End User License Agreements, and Disclaimers?!@
sorry you feel that way, but I've been playing this game with minor issues, and WHEN I do have a problem it is after playing for hours without interruption
Meh. I've seen similar or worse issues with games in the first few days. If I were grading on a curve this would just be mediocre. But the real issue is why don't these developers start with way more capacity than they need rather than ramp it up and make the experience miserable for the first few days or weeks. I would think someone somewhere would realize that the expense of doing that would be worth the retention of potential revenue.
In light of these issues, the XP boost for pre-orders should be measured in actual in-game time (3 days equals 72 hours of gameplay) rather than real time. (I am assuming that it is real-time from when you first start playing, I could be wrong, I haven't found a place where it says.)
I should have gone with Bioshock Infinite...
Give Trion TIME to iron things out! My god! I spent over $155 for the Ultimate Collector's Edition! If I can be patient with Trion to get their act together, so can you! Sit down and quit *****ing. You folks who are whining are more irritating than the problems with game itself. You wanna give up on a game that's going to be a hit? Fine, get off the forums, give away or return your game and speak not another word about Defiance. For us who actually want to give a damn about Defiance and enjoy it, we'll going to entrench ourselves and wait it out!
