Recruiting for a new clan.

How is everyone doing? I ran one of the biggest guilds on Rift and was a top 100 player. I ran a guild on WoW as well. Figured I would add that in.


We have a few members and are growing quickly. We are active, helpful to each other and very friendly. We are looking for active players, with mics. Now, you don't have to use your mic all the time but knowing you have one, for when we do co op maps, events and other activities, is helpful. I am a newer player but I've learned a lot about this game already and know very much about it, from reading the forums and from other veteran players. I will become a vet very quickly, like in Rift, Runescape, WoW, Helbreath and Avabel. yea, not really trolling, considering everything i sad was true. Can look me up on rift or WoW. my guilds are ran by a friend, since i stopped playing them but am still in them as a gm. troll yourself kid, don't down my post when you don't know me. I don't see how you are going to pass me when I did pursuits that they took out of the game, but I look forward to it. Some of us have a job and work as well. Not to boast but I am about to hit 5900 on my 2nd character so before you think you know it all take a step back. Even I do not know everything but I'm sure I know loads more than you. I can tell you, you won't be getting any server firsts here and be prepared to get lol'd in pvp.

well, trash talling is like saying, you are going to beat someone in call of duty, that you're going to win the game against the other team.

considering, getting a high ego score only takes time, doing missions, dungeons, and other things. that even a 6 year old can do, doesn't really fall in the same category as trash talking. Any fool can put hours every day into an rpg and become lvl 100, ego 7000.

The Level cap is 5900 ego, last I checked. So good luck getting higher than is allowed. Btw your ego is your level.

The level cap is 5900, good to know, thank you. When the level cap is raised to 7000, i guess than my post would be correct.

If you aren't too busy saving Gotham, could you please inform me on how I do contracts? Since you are so kind "Batman"

It has nothing to do with an ego. Any scrub can get to the max level in any game with enough hard work and hours put in. Ego had nothing to do with it, especially since i max out in every RPG i have ever played and don't stop until I do. I personally don't thing ego has anything to do with it.

You do contracts by looking at them and doing what it tells you to. Some are conflict sites, some are co-ops, others are killing certain enemies. Also it may be easy to reach cap but not everyone wants to do pursuits. Then there is the fact that no matter how high new players level. There will always be old players that will be higher because we did pursuits that are no longer in game. I am not cap even though I could be, because ( personally don't do the pursuits I don't find fun.

Just play the way you want, and quit arguing with the trolls, and keep your achievements in other games out of your Defiance posts and they may get off your back once this thread dies, like it should.

In Defiance ego matters because weapon damage scales with ego.

so your saying, pursuits give you better items and what not? which means, people who did them, will always be better? If that were the case, I would just find people to trade me their pursuit stuff and if need be, pay with real cash to get it.

I brought up my other accomplishments so ppl didn't think i was a rookie. I actually posted the same post in xbox360 clans and took that part out, before anyone here starting jumping on my back about it. I just couldn't delete this thread after you told me to post there.

Yea, i figured that much. Also, i found out i can bring higher level weapons to my level and vice versa.

oh, I think phrased that wrong. i meant, if people wouldn't trade it, i would buy it from the defiance store, with real cash.

I didn't mean any sarcasm, sorry if you took it as such. Most pursuit gear is not tradable. However in order to reach level cap, you have to do your pursuits. Defiance has a weird level system, compared to RPGs, let my try to explain and hope I don't screw up:

You gain experience from everything. However when you have gained enough experience to max all the perks and powers, you reach experience cap. I believe it is around ego 4000 for most.

Once you reach experience cap, the only way to keep gaining ego level is to, level your vehicle and weapon skills to 20, and do pursuits. If you look at the bottom of a pursuit it will tell you how many ego levels you get. Most give between 5 and 15. The bigger ones give more.

The pursuit gear (what little there is) can not be bought in the Defiance store. Also I think (personally) The most useful stuff in the Defiance store is: Inventory, keycode cap, loadouts, arkforge, then anything else that you want.

Also the most inventory you can have (after buying it from the store) is 400.

Also if you choose not to do the missions right away, or spend scrip on vehicles, there is a medtech buggy that can be earned from a fairly easy set of pursuits, although I don't remember that pursuit set's name.

Most of us do try to be cool and helpful. However I think some took that first post wrong, and Op's defensiveness rubbed people wrong even more. Op, you definitely have a right to be defensive. However, I really did not mean anything bad when I pointed out that level is ego, so I am again, sorry if you took it that way.

are pursuits on the map? don't remember if there is an icon for it.

I'm already almost done with the main missions, on episode 4, i think. I Heard it only went up to 5.

I bought a car for 30k scrip, kind of prefer my quad though. oh well, i have enough scrip for now.

The weapons the vets have from old pursuits, don't you think trion will add better weapons into the game? If they do, the weapons from those old pursuits don't really matter than right?
