So I was wondering about the episode missions...with Nolan and Irisa. How many of these are there? So far I've done maybe like four of them. Are they going to be more added like a weekly content thing when the show starts? I've tried looking them up on one of the Defiance wikis I've seen and I can't find very concrete information on them.
How do these work?
I stumbled on the first one by accident and it unlocked Nolan's outfit.
I saw a second one, but it disappeared before I got to the location. I can't rememeber exact location of the mission icon on my map, but I see Nolan and Irisa hanging out at a bar but they wont talk to me.
These are missions directly related to the show and are timed(that is, if you don't do them, they go away). They will most likely either be a weekly thing or we get more when an episode comes out. Though weekly seems likely, as it would let them develop the show's story in the time between seasons.
Well that was their plan running this game together with the show so they are united and I would say those missions are based on the show some what...

Don't get me wrong I am having fun, but if you're primary marketing gimmic is a TV show tie-in, you would think those missions would be manditory (or at the very least not expire).
The missions are still there, i know that as i am currently doing those with Nolan and Irisa. Try going to that bar and use the ego figure just in front of Nolan. If it is not there, you might want to submit a ticket, but first i would check the whole map for the episode mission sign.
The episode missions are just backstory, the show isn't needed to play the game and vice versa. Are you sure the missions are gone? You get them one at a time. If you've done the first one, go check at The Crater for the next one(think that's where it is). If not, just look for the big star in an orange box on your map.Quote:

New missions per episode, then theres something called "beats" what we've not seen yet, impression I got when they explained them was, something happens in the show, they want us tolog in the game and theres somekind of happening.
