What happen if I mod a carving knife?

First,i dont have a carving knife,im looking for one,but some people says that it ****s the synergy.i want to get one so i should know about it.if it has a mod,i could remove it and everything will be ok,right? i need someone to explain me that...

I haven't seen the Carving Knife, but if it's anything like the other swords, the only thing a mod will do is change the colour.

There are two ways to remove a mod - one keeps the weapon and destroys the mod and the other retrieves the mod, but destroys the weapon.

Guessing it's like all the other swords, just a color change is all.

I had a carving knife and ill tell you its a 4 slot synergy like the rest of the Halloween stuff, it has only 1 mod slot and the mod which has to be bought in bit store doesn't have a synergy, so the synergy on the knife is completely useless, it cant be unlocked, so if it cant be unlocked I doubt you can break it either

yeah, the Carving knife has the Plate Slicer synergy... but it is unused and obviously can't be used. because it has only one mod slot and there are no sword mods with Plate Slicer synergy.

Here is my Carving Knife. You can see that the Synergy fields are not activated, they are greyed out.

Your friend smokes crack then.

Do not mod a carving knife. It removes the nano. And if you remove the mod the nano is still lost. Also, a have a friend with carving knife and synergy is activated no mods.

I would assume that it's not actually meant to have the same synergies as typical weapons and is just an error.

Anyone have any info on this?
