So wait you're telling me that out of every 3 people 2 are miserable with the game? Now I may not be the brightest but my simple math tells me that alienating 2/3rds of your population can't be a good business model.

I'm just playing devil's advocate here I've had no real problems aside from some occasional lag spikes and overall enjoying my experience but I feel bad for those other two people.

i went in knowing next to nothing other than MMOTPS, and tie in to tv show. I dont regret paying the £40 or so, and i'll continue to enjoy it. I just cant wait to see how it all ties together with the show and whatnot.

i just think those two in three people should just wait and see before they start kicking off, the games been out for two days.
And yeah, its a shame to see people turned off by the issues theyre evidently encountering.

FF11, Rift, LOTRO, WOW....... none of those games had issues I'm seeing with this game. I didn't even start to talk about the issues with not even getting disconnected 10 - 20 times before I even got to make my first character.

It's ok to say the game was rushed to meet a deadline for the television show. Slap a bata tag on the game and be done with it. Don't put it out as a finished product and wondering why people are angry about the game not working as intended.... Heck I'm pretty sure The War Z had a better launch than this.

Out of the games you listed, THEY ALL HAD LAUNCH issues I was at all those launches except FXI which I played, but not from launch... I could pull Youtube videos from WoW launches that were "Borked"... EQ2 was really bad at launch too, took about a week for it to stabilize. Out of ALL THE LAUNCHES I have experienced for PC MMORPG's this has been the smoothest!! I admit I do not know what issues there might be on Xbox360 or PS3. Do all the different platform players play on the same servers??? That in itself is amazing, I don't know if it's ever been done before? I know EVE Online has been working with something on Xbox360. Dust451 ??? something, I forget what it's called, but it brings PC and Xbox users to the same servers I think.

I completely understand people being FRUSTRATED and upset about the game being buggy, or even someone taking off work to play from launch and realizing that the game didn't get "Stable" enough to play until that evening anyway. I wish MMORPG's could put out a "REALITY CHECK" warning on there games, but they aren't going to be completely stable until EVERYONE that wants to play starts playing and see what things break.

MMORPG Game Lunches = "Shtako" (SP?) hehe

Calling BS here. EQ, FF11, and AO all had significant issues at release.

And with EQ, every expansion brought new, wonderful problems.

    To the OP: Agree 100%

You still called people entitled, when in fact people who just want the game to work aren't being entitled. Why you used that word I'll never know. You're like Baghdad Bob, a mouth piece who spits out support for a company which seems to be totally inept. Least we forget they are the ones who made Rift.... I mean seriously you nearly nail one release, then you totally and utter shoot the pooch on the second one WTF is up with that.

<<<Didn't even bother reading the OP.

The actions and mindless trends of gaming industry SHEEPLE are hilarious to witness at times. It's a wonder that it's history is rich with instances of it's consumer bases proving to be the most abused, gullible, clueless, uninformed shoppers the world over.

For just once, I'd like to see one of these condescending FANBOYS take their irrationale SHEEP-LOGIC and attempt to apply it to some other industry.

Say, the AUTO INDUSTRY, for instance:
Can you imagine what would happen if some analyst, consumer, or correspondent would have started chastising the Toyota consumer bases when Camry buyers started voicing their outrage at the manufacturer for releasing such flawed and faulty products? What do you think would have happen if one of these sheeple decided to label their outrage as "A FALSE SENSE OF ENTITLEMENT" during the middle of a news interview (for example).
Well, they'd be laughed off the show, exposed for their clueless ignorance, and perhaps even blackballed from ever appearing on any other news show anywhere ever again... ever.

Good thing for Trion this isn't the Auto industry, right? Right?

    AMEN! :D Well said again.

Never said I played AO at launch, I said I played it and it gave my internet zero issues. In fact im pretty sure I even played that game on Dial up and didn't have the same issues I'm having with this game.

I did play WOW at launch, and it had issues sure, don't remember them being as bad as this game though. In that I could actual play the game, in spite of the servers coming down a few times for patches to fix issues. EQ 2 launch was pretty good, not sure what issues you are talking about or it taking a week to stabilize, I suspect that's a lie just to justify this horrific launch, but meh, whatever helps you sleep at night.

All MMO games patch their games in the first few weeks... this game is a cluster hump and have the servers even came down to patch the game yet?

    TL/DR, just returning the favor.
