    The crimefighter being sparing with the ammo is one of the reasons I like it. I got so tired of having to spend as much or more time running for the ammo box as actually fighting when I was using pulsars and mazus mainly.

    Before the holiday events I mostly ran a flare pistol/bmg loadout for the same reason (I tried to use the crimefighter as little as possible at big events due to the shake and visibility problems), for the moment I am running various plate slicer and either hellfire or solstice combinations until the OJs fall too far behind in EGO. After that I will probably go back to the DF weapons and flare/bmg for the most part.

    Don't forget that the ego on that is over 5000. Downgrade it to 2400 and its gonna do less than 10k.

    i would warther see cf over bmg any dam day !1 at least i can see where i am shooting at and i dont have either or both the healing that doesnt heal you and that bubble that doesnt do anything really, well for me it doesnt do jack. but for those that cant do well in anything they go for the none team item aka bmg/spanner all it is to give the user big score but doesnt help anyone else..

    spam that cf and throw away the useless bmg/spanners!!

    and what lag? i do go from 130 fps down to 80fps or so but i dont have to wait for as you call it the game to catch up, it is more like you pc to catch up

    The already seem to be fixing both. The DF weapons do not do that annoying shake as bad as they used to and the explosion graphics seem to be a little smaller (they do need to be a little less opaque still, but it is a start), and the bubble looks like it may be more transparent though that could have been due to lighting effects.

    Also BMGs are not used just for score farming like some people seem to think. Players who are used to taking the healer role in other games like to use it for that though Defiance is not really set up for organized parties with specific roles.

    I started to do that with my first BMG but soon realized it did not work that well to fill that role. Now I use it mainly for self healing, skitterlings, and tearing down shields when I have a primary weapon that does not do well on shielded targets, not score farming.

    At least you can admit that it does not work well in that role. Most BMG "healers" will swear up and down upon their usefulness but numbers don't lie. All I need for self healing is Execution and Regeneration. If I get killed then I messed up. Sometimes things sneak into my firing path and I mess up with my Crimefighter, instantly.
