Infector sight mod SLOTS, but no actual sight mods in game?

Ok, So last night I spent 6k Ark salvage to add a random slot to my infector. It happened to be, that it added a sight mod. I logged in today and remember I had added mod slot it, and went to add the actual mod to the slot.

There is the issue, there is a MOD SLOT, but you cant BUY a mod for it like you can everyother mod for its respective slot! WHY was this left out? I either want my sight mod, or my 6k ark salvage back.

It isn't left out. What EGO are you and have you done side missions? They give mods. Other than that go to a vendor. Vendors have mods for every slot.

My EGO is near 300, I have been to EVERY known mod vendor, so far( Im on the 4th out of 5 chapters for the story mode) and they all have the same thing and NO sight mod for a infector. But theres like 3 for the pistol alone. WTF?

Its not EGO level, the sight mods for infectors just dont exist. Dont know why

I saw something similar with rocket launchers in beta 3. The only ones I ever saw were for guided launchers. Nothing available for the others. Didn't think to check the vendor to see if it changed. I may have to go look now.

I almost mentioned the rocket launchers too but then I wasnt sure if I never found one to fit a regular version or not. I do know I tried one of the ones that says for guided launchers on a non guided and it wouldnt go on

Yea u can get a regular sight mod for RPG, too bad they dont level up though lol.( dunno if its a reward or not though) Mine zooms like a Sniper rifle. I can take a pic and show its stats if you need.

But as far as mod specific vendors go,

The ones I check are the following:

Iron Demon Ranch
Headlands Transit Depot
Chronkite Post

I think there are 1 or 2 more mod specific vendors, but I cant remember the names right off the top of my head.

This is a stretch but do you think the mod cache things you buy from rep vendors might have it?

Ah. I thought you menat sight mods in general. I am not sure I don't use infectors. But that seems a bit lame.

there is no sight mods for infector weapons.
