I don't need, or want to run either of those programs.

This is 2013. Where is my in-game screenshot keybind?

This is a console port, it wasn't designed for the PC. Maybe they'll get around to making it more PC-friendly when they've fixed more urgent issues, but until then, either find alternative solutions or remain screenshotless.

There are key differences between the PC and console version (I have played both). I do agree it is not a big of an issue as, say, actually saving my keybinds properly, or the consolized UI, or the in-game VOIP that just keeps turning back on. But it's still an inconvenience and I'm pretty sure they could have coded a button for it in ~10 minutes. ;) Lol

As of this moment, that's the only way. I downloaded Fraps myself last night for just this reason. It also puts a handy FPS counter up for you, so you can see if your computer's running the game ok. If you want to record video of yourself playing, Fraps does that, too.

Trion will more than likely add one later, but in the mean time, your choices are 1. Do nothing but fuss and stew about it, or 2. Install Fraps or MSI Afterburner and take your screenshots. You can always uninstall it later, if/when they come out with a native utility.

Well *obviously* I am choosing option #1!

Fwiw, after switching to Windowed mode the basic print screen -> paste into paint method worked fine for me (in Fullscreen I got the same blacked out result).

Obviously not as good as having proper in-game screenshot support (or just having the generic method work with fullscreen), but less hassle than downloading third party software or whatever.

This is kinda stupid. What kind of a game doesn't have its own screenshot button.

    Console games, and bad ports.
