First impressions.
After having issues preventing me from getting any early access time. I was not expecting to enjoy Defiance, I was expecting another mediocre licensing cash in. Largely, aside from some minor issues I was surprised.
gameplay is fairly smooth the world is amazingly well detailed and the client Runs well at high settings (despite no FSAA options /sadface)
the only real issues I've noticed so far that bother me.
1)No dodge roll while sprinting, why?
2) hit detection and minor mob rubberbanding is pretty common.
3) Vehicle handling is godawful bad, its like watching a brick slide around on ice, please fix.
4)Can we PLEASE get an easier to find log out/exit game function? took me 5 minutes to figure out how to exit the game.
Other than those few minor issues with the overall game I've been pleased with it all, thena gain I am no longer an XP grinding madman rushing to "endgame" (gave that up with WoW about 4 years ago) I prefer to explore the ENTIRE game experience and take in as many of its features as I can. And to this I was also surprised to find random unmarked mission events. Some of which are rather difficult to complete. These events definately give more reason to explore as the rewards are also decent for the level range in which they can be found.
Thank you Trion for delivering a satisfying game once again. I was almost tempted to re-sub to Rift, but I'm too burnt out on fantasy genre for awhile.
