    Annoying sounds from other people?
    Hey!
Was wondering if anyone else have experienced this or if you know how to "fix" it?
Alot of the times in deathmatch and coop games I hear alot of noise.
I do see a voice symbol but I can't seem to figure out how to mute them.
Is there a setting to mute everyone? (who uses ingame voice chat anyway?)
Maybe these people don't even know we can hear them?

I hope they improve the chat system.
Hard to let them know they are making noise when you can't see the chat without opening it. :)

    Answer by Komakala:

You can go into settings, under audio, turn Voice off. This disables all incoming and outgoing voice chat. But the game currently has an always on mic policy. So if you have a mic plugged in it is always transmitting. That coupled with codecs that aren't transmitting quality sound you get annoying sounds all the time. Devs have announced that they are trying to come up with a fix for the mic issues.

There must be a better way of dealing with this than playing without game sounds?

Spam your team/group chat and tell them to shut off their mic http://hfimage.net/images/ulsapsw3kn0yrhjps74f.png and hope they read that broken chat system we have here

It does disable your voice, it disables all voice chat. There is a quirky bug where it can also disable text chat at times. But I haven't run into that issue myself. Just read about it on the forum.

My issue is that I have to turn the voice off everytime I log in, My guess is the game never saves your setting changes since I have to redo all my keybinds too everytime I log in aswell.

I haven't had that issue Otis. Might want to file a bug report, if you haven't already.
