Just wanted to know about the Arkbreaker dlc before I buy it. Does it have any pursuits that require me to beat formidable enemies or does it have any arenas that's impossible to get gold if I solo them because if so I'll pass on buying it.

if i remember right arkbreaker deals with calling down arkfalls and warmaster and i think chimure

I know zombiechickens may not have much scratch, but buy all the dlcs when you can.
i wouldnt bother, the rewards from them are old and out dated...
The initial mission to build the first spike has you fighting dark matter and at one point you face two bulwarks at the same time. It can be difficult at low ego levels. Additionally, arkbreaks come in several varieties including volge, grid and mutants. The first couple I called down with my low ego toon I didn't even make it inside. It can be done with a group of low ego players, but can be very frustrating when it fails. Usually other players simply show up but no guarantee.
whatever some poeple may ay, arkbreaker is my favorite DLC.
The storyline missions you need to do at first can be challennging depending your level, i did them below ego 200 once (i think i started them around ego 80) for the challenge of it alone.
Arkbreaks themselves are a different matter, they can be very hard or even undoable solo below ego 1000-1500 at least and one of them specially (the hutmasters twins) is hard to the point of frustration to solo if you are below ego 2000-2500.
Basically the Arkbreaker DLC is a waste of money unless you want to use the weapons that can be rewarded by beating the Warmaster. Trion has now made the DLC even more worthless by allowing people that have not paid for the DLC to not only participate for free but create private instances without paying for it as well. Basically you would be paying Trion for the privilege of calling down ark falls so that they can make even more money.
I believe the quickshot blaster is arkbreaker dlc, and it is my favorite pistol. I think that alone was worth buying the dlc.
Some hate the cold fire weapons, i love them.
The thunderer pistol is the funniest pistol in game (for me)
The typhoon rifles are amazing (if you know how to use them) Needlers and castithian springers are probably the two best SMGs in game.
Even as bugged as they are, the lighting rifles are fun and really useful in some situations (and the coolest looking sniper rifles in the game too)
Zaggers has not eploitable bug anymore, but still are nice. Breacher are my econd favorite sawed off shotty (after the courier)
Precise chaos are the only rocket launchers worth having (for me, again)
The Proliferator is the only infector worth using (for the sole purpose of raising skill, i hate infectors)
The shield spanner was awesome (until the delayed wash off was removed, now it is useless as shield booster but still good for bmg damage)
All those were my reasons to buy arkbreaker as my first DLC and i don't regret it even for a split second.
