Can PC players expect to get an option to map loadouts?
Making an option to map our loadouts to different keys or shortcuts is a job that one of Trion's trainees can do in less than a day. And it's very unlikely if will happen at all. Because the game is designed and ran with console users as it's primary target.

Which leaves a very sour taste in my mouth. How many other standards will I have to forgo just because Trion marketing was designed in such a way to conceale that fact. I would definitely not pre-order this game had I known it is going to be such lousy experience to play this game on a PC.

Even UI is a complete crap, but it would be a much bigger job for them to do. I still expect and hope that they will do something about it, but this overload idiocy has almost convinced me that Trion is deliberately ignoring PC players as they don't either know how to do it properly or simply don't care as they have already gotten our money.

It's only been three days, but the lack of official posts, responses or information on these forums is worrying. I don't believe this team is the same that made and maintained Rift and I don't think it's going to be the same good CS experience as it was with that game.

    What do you think?
Is it just me and my expectations or do you also see an option to map loadouts as something that should be done? Can we expect it to be done at all?

I really hope so. Even if there's like a 10s cooldown for swapping. Sometimes that's just a better option than going into my menu and clicking that tiny 1 or 2.

"Slow" loadout switch is part of PvP balance where you have to choose 2 weapons instead of 1 primary weapon and 9 secondary specialized guns for any imaginable situation.

but personaly it would be nice to allow this for PVE.. as i use many guns.

It could be possible to just limit the keybinds to 2 loadouts. Thus everyone would get just 2 options.

More than 2, you cheeky ****. Even so, that's 2 seconds of not being aware of your surroundings. It'd be nice to do it on the fly, but I don't care THAT much.

I don't mind loosing 1 or 2 seconds for my loadout to switch, I just don't want to be looking at the menu while this is happening. I would like to retain my awareness of my surroundings while I switch loadouts.

I find it annoying as well. You should be able to switch loadouts using F1-F5 or something.

Even if there is a cooldown for switching of 10 seconds or something, it is better than going into menus.

I don't see there been much of an impact in PVP.

The other annoying part is I can't disable a load out. That means if I find a good genade or shield and want to replace the old one, I must do it multiple times for all load outs before I can scape the old one. This gets crazy when you have like 5-6 load outs slots but actually only use 2-3.
