pay boxes: are you getting your money's worth?
I have recently spent $200.00 on pay boxes just to see exactly how well they produce for what we pay. The end result was Terrible by any standard. Out of those pay boxes I got 8 t4 mods 12 purple guns of which 9 had no nano a legendary rocket launcher and a no nano legendary derailer. Now just suppose maybe I just had really bad luck, even then wouldn't you think that the drop rates would be better than in game boxes considering you are paying out (real) money? I'm not really angry about this as much as I am concerned that after multiple players I have discussed this with ultimately say on average that they have dumped at least 400 into the boxes before they really start producing anything even remotely nice while few others have hit pay dirt on just 15 bucks. Ultimately I've decided that after spending 200 for that my days with the pay boxes are over. So that's my experience and for what it's worth I'd like to hear from others how has your luck been with the pay boxes good or bad?

idk why I would ever pay for lockboxes anyway. I can get 3 elite lockboxes in a day from keycodes. Just need to spend $5 to increase keycode capacity.

I don't even know what to say. You could've spent your money way better than this or at least have read up a bit on lock boxes before whaling out.

Df store lock boxes are a scam. Learned early not to spend real money on those. Only items worth spending money on are the key code/patron passes/inventory slot upgrades and blade mods or even certain outfits if you're into that.

Burned some bits I had sitting in store on 1/2 off to get jackpot. Vendor got everything I got from it. At least I don't have any bits left to worry about what to do with now. Won't be buying any more. My opinion keys are the way to go for the boxes you can buy with them not bits.

I spent money on the blackened hellfire crates hoping to at least get the pumkin headgear. Or a T4 mod. Or a slim chance at a jackpot Halloween.Got mostly blues, and a couple purple guns and a crapload of T2 purge mods. Worst money I ever spent. It should at least guarantee a purple for $5 real money per box. Ridiculous...

The 200 was disposable so didn't really care, but from the sounds of the posts so far it seems like no one's had a positive experience.

Wow, the HF crates have T2's in them? If you spend money you should at least get epic/T3 or higher. I bought an Elite lockbox from the store once shortly after I just started playing not knowing that they were the same as the ones you can get with keys. When I realized that I had just spent $5 for a lockbox that was worse than any of the "free" ones that I had opened that ended my foray into buying them. However, I have had to come to terms with a growing inventory slot addiction so ...
