Why goals dont increase EGO units?

I have just finished Mount Tam Recon goal +40 EGO rating and i fought i will recive +4 EGO units...
Im disappointed :P

You only earn ego points when you fill the xp bar.

I know that. Im talking about GOALS if they increase EGO rating why they dont increase EGO units this for me strange.

EGO rating affects many different things, like how many perk slots you have and what tiers of perks you can claim with points, the goals can boost your power rating to great lengths in a short time allowing you to take advantage of perks earlier on and have more perk slots without endlessly grinding. Not all 5k Power Rating go towards EGO points either because you would wind up with more points than available perks to upgrade. :D


Oh, same thing goes for Power Rating earned through weapon skills.

Because you only get perk points from filling the XP bar. Which is what you were just told.
