Loadouts copying outfits and perks when switching between them

So Ive been using three seperate loadouts for most of the game now - had no problems changing back and forth. All three have different outfits and different gear loadouts but they all had the same perks and power.

The problem started tonight when I finally bought a second power and slotted it in my third loadout.

When I switched to the third loadout from either of the first two - it would copy the outfit and perks. If I switched from the third (which now has the copied outfit/perks) to another loadout that has something different - it would again copy it to that loadout. The process basically would go on forever. The loadout with the second power copies whatever loadout I change from and then it copies itself to whatever loadout I change to, from it.

This, naturally, completely destroys the point of having multiple loadouts. Very annoying bug - anyone else encounter this?

I have just noticed this myself - you can change the perks between loadouts quite happily but if you change the power this bug occurs.

I have this bug too. Quite annoying, especially because I don't want a "explosive kills gives more loot chance" perk when my loadout doesn't even have a single explosive weapon. And it all started yesterday, after that "maintenance".

Me too!! I have 3 load outs with 3 different powers but it keeps copying the same 4 perks across all 3 load outs. Really annoying because its making the perks pointless as some of them are power specific.

Soo glad I found this you explained this bug brilliantly! I have it as well and its sooo annoying as hell.. thankfully I didn't make a new post on this! Hopefully they will see this and check it out, but don't expect a fix soon as they need to fix connectivity and crash/lag issues a lot of peeps are having first. Maybe in a couple of weeks for us PC users... That's a point how many of you that have this issue are on which platform? (PC Version).

this just started happening to me as well.

Have the EXACT problem since yesterday. I had 1 power and 5 perks, all the same in each loadout. Headgear and outfits were different. No problem. Yesterday, I respec and unlocked 3 powers and perks. I equipped each loadout with a different power and different perks. Now no matter what I do, the 5th perk stays the same for each loadout and so does the headgear and outfits. There are numerous bugs, but this one is really pissing me off :\

I used to have a Loadout for sniping, then for close quarters and one for Arkfalls. Now thanks to this annoying bug I have one loadout three times. I guess until they fix it i'll have to go jack-of-all-trades to balance

Somehow cycling from loadout 3 recopies 3 into 1 and 2.
So, my loadout 1, Arc Faller and loadout 2, quirky adventure all get mashed up into loadout 3; broken rando with perks I wouldn't use otherwise (but bought in order to get to other areas of the board).

ya same here have calss 1 with cloak with hunter stance hunker down ambush and fortitude but class 2 is overcharge with regeneration killing spree cellular and fortitude and class 3 is all shotty with over charge and scavenger killing spree regen and fortitude lol so now i keep getting 3 of class 3 every time i switch threw to class 3 or even just pass class 3 to get to class 1 my sniper class lol very anoying. i have reported it in the game and on here so maybe it will get fixed soon. lol

I have the same bug. I have 3 loadouts and only the third one seems to stay while the first and second seem to randomly overwrite each other or copy a perk from the third in the same slot. When I set all my perks and relog it is completely messed up. Sometimes the last perk out of 4 is not even sloted.

I have cloak on loadout 1 and overcharge on loadout 2 and 3.
I can confirm that when I switch loadout one to overcharge the bug does not seem to occur so it must be related to using different powers. Which also might explain why so few people have found this yet, most only have one power in use.

Edit: I just loged in the next day and the last perks of the first two loadouts were missing even tho I had overcharge on all loadouts.

I hope this gets fixed soon it is realy annyoing.

Same issue here. I have a survivalist, sneaky-cloaky loadout and an in-your-face run-and-gun loadout with cloak and Overcharge respectively. Do you think I care if I do more crit damage when crouched with the latter class, or take less damage when standing still? No, because I wont be utilizing either. I'd rather take less damage when my shield breaks or collect more ammo per drop, or even decrease the range at which enemy explosives hit me. Much more suited to my run and gun class.

I do have the same problem and its a pretty annoying one at that.

I play on PC.

Same on my and my friends PS3 Version.

This should be fixed, cuz using just 1 out of 4 powers means 75% less fun.
I mean yeah, this game is fun but... This bug is disturbing.
Hope this will get fixed soon.

i have this problem too on 360

Right after i changed one of my loadouts to have Cloak instead of Overcharge. It starting copying the same outfits.

I've made threads like this, and responded to them, and put the bug on an in game request for help. Nothing yet, I suppose in some sense of the word they have more pressing matters to attend to, but for me it makes the game very annoying when I want to quickly switch between my Cloak, Overcharge, and Blur builds. This bug is very annoying and I hope it gets fixed quickly.

Edit: Keep forgetting to mention that I am using a PC. Since it seems like it's important

I am having the same problem.

Has anyone heard if they have a fix for this bug yet?? I have the same problem...

No news from the help desk request I put in, they haven't gotten back to me yet. I recommend however that we keep on top of this issue until we get some sort of response. Not to be a prick about it, because this is something that is relatively new. There wasn't a problem with this until one of the recent patches so something got screwed up along the way.

What I'm saying is that if we can keep the developers aware of this, by making sure it doesn't fade away, by keeping on remind the developers that the problem exists until we get some sort of response.

In short, let's not be pricks to the Devs but lets not make this a " backdoor " issue either, this really does matter to game play, a lot more than some of the other things that are constantly being harped on and/or corrected.

Having same problem since last night when I respecced to have Decoy on build 1, and Overcharge and other perks on builds 2 and 3.

I also have this bug. I started to notice it with 3 loadouts, but with 4 it's now become worse. I don't mind the outfit copying since I like to have the same outfit on all my loadouts. But my perks won't stay slotted. The perks from my 4th loadout keep replacing all the perks from my other loadouts. Hopefully the upcoming patch addresses this issue.

Exactly this bug needs to be fixed asap.

PC Version

Got my fourth loadout
Normally I use Decoy, but I made a new loadout with Overcharge.

Since then... the loadout screen bugs out, copying perks, sometimes copying outfits, messing up what I was trying to do.
This is clearly NOT working as intended.

Due to this bug I dont even use my 3 additional loadouts, just number 1. Very annoying.

As of this morning, problem still persists for me, considering how much this bug effects game play compared to other bugs I have seen out there I'd like to hear from more people, and for people to try to keep this on the front page as much as possible. As I said before, I don't want this problem to get buried while less important things get focused on just because people are louder about them.

Same problem here, playing on ps3. This is actually a game breaker for me. I am putting it down and watching the forums until this gets fixed.

It's annoying, but I wouldn't go so far as to call it game breaking. It's not that bad playing with one EGO power until it gets fixed.

Have the same problem but I´ve found a way to do it. What you have to do is hit esc (back to the game) after you chose the first perk, then hit L and click on the next perk choose perk and hit esc... rinse and repeat.

I´ve noticed that lots of times you can only change gear/perks by clicking on the slot from loadout-tab. If you try to equip from the inventory-tab or ego-tab it´s a possibility for bugs. So to avoid frustration I always hit esc after each change and the L again for the next change.

edit: I use different perks in my loadouts but to be sure that "my way" still work I just changed all my perks to different ones. Still works for me atleast :)

I have the same problem on Xbox360. My best weapon is visible but frozen in secondary slot.

Happens to me too.

Read about a solution for this problem and tested it:
-You have to find a weapon drop.
-Hold X, Square or E (depending on system)to equip now/swap.
-Has to be a weapon tho.

It took me a while to kill enough mobs with a crappy weapon but it worked like a charm. Bug still needs to be addressed tho.
