These story/episode missions would have been infinitely more enjoyable if my brain dead Ark Hunter did something other than nodding and shaking her head.

    inb4 Jennifer Hale/Mark Meer $30 DLC.

Hey now the ark hunter also knocks down chairs and hits people. I think they handled it pretty well and silence is much better than getting some terrible voice actor to represent your own character.

Facial expressions are ridiculously stoic. I could only take the character seriously after I put on a full helmet. At that point it was a bit more interesting because body language was done really well. It wasn't overdone like in SWTOR, but it had enough emphasis to feel like the character was aware of urgency in some cases. (Think GTA IV, or to a lesser extent, Mass Effect.)

Well, I haven't seen any chairs get knocked over so far, but having my character just standing around staring blankly most of the time kinda takes me out of the cut scenes. Using my imagination is fine in old RPGs where it's purely text based, but it comes off as really weird in 3D games where everyone else is talking. Especially in games that could have some epic voice acting opportunities.

Partly why I opted for a full helmet instead. I can imagine facial expressions there that fit the scene.

I prefer it that way tbh, it reminds me of the old school japanese rpgs

also nothing would break my inmersion more than being forced to deal with a voiceover that I dont like for my char. It is highly conceptualized and I really doubt they would ever get it to my complete satisfaction

in SWtoR after a couple minutes I couldnt stand the voice of my (multiple) chars, male and female alike so I ended up spacebaring it all the way
