Arkfalls: Do not kill the Skitterlings!

Several major Arkfall failures later and i've decided enough is enough!

For all those who do not know or are unaware, please do not kill the skitterlings in Arkfalls, the skitts attack the crystals opening gaps in the rock that apply damage bonuses!

Kill the warriors and archers and matriachs by all means, but spare the tiny little skitts and you'll notice things will move along a lot quicker and with less hassle!

Let's hope this sinks in, though i'm guessing most console players will have never seen a game forum! :P

Never failed an arkfall and i say KILL EVERYTHING!!!!!

Never understood why they do that... but i understand its such a pain when your just sprinting the crystal and your like da hell wheres the.... ooh great i know haha

whilst in the beta a drove around them with a car killing everything :( *hangs head in shame*
dont do it now though dont worry :)

my role is to kill the archers/blastpods whilst looking at crystal shooting the openings also reviving people if they need it :)

The thing is, your ego even shouts at you during the arkfall telling you that the little ones bite opens up holes which allows massive dmg. The problem is people either don't listen, or just wanna shoot stuff!

Can't say I've failed one because of it, but it certainly takes longer.

this but sometimes the ego doesn't say anything seems to go mute now and then lol also the chat box could be better illuminated so you can see it alot more clearer.

It certainly takes a lot longer!

I'm going to assume a lot of players play with a different soundtrack or are just plain ignorant, (see above) the difference it makes in removing the Arkfalls is monumental. I actually came across a group of players "killing everything" and in chat one of them was saying "How do we kill these things" add in scrubs driving their awful pre-order boy racer cars in circles around the crystals mowing down everything...well! You get the picture!

If I'm not mistaken there is one variant of Arkfall where you kill the skitterlings as well, but I think it has a blue crystal rather than an orange one.

I guess I've been lucky because all of the Arkfalls I've been involved in, everyone left the little guys alone for the most part.

I think there are several variants with different tactics and outcomes for each, though the lil skitt Arkfalls do tend to surround the starter areas mainly!
