If not, the game has some serious design flaws.

People who have no better reason or argument always tend to use 'LORE' as an excuse.

it is a post apocalyptic world full of advanced alien technology but somehow only thing that doesn't work is mails..even though you see computers working in many cut scenes. Convenient.

Laziness or incompetence are really the only two answers. Same thing with the UI. You can't tell me that at some point during development there wasn't a single person who said "you know, I think the UI is unusable on the PC" or "sending items to other players is a pretty standard feature."

Unfortunately, when those questions got raised, the responses were either "we don't feel like fixing the UI for PC's so we'll just leave it broken" or "we don't have the expertise to implement those features right now." With the way they have basically admitted to troubleshooting problems with an "everything but the kitchen sink" approach, I'm guessing it's the later.

Because it's not really an MMO. This is a shooter first with a splash, spritz or dash of MMO elements. Also because most the MMO elements just wouldn't work on a console. The PC version has suffered a great deal because of the console requirement.

Still a great game, Trion a great company but the console aspect really hurts as they're so inferior to a PC and it's capabilities.

Shared account storage would be nice
It would be nice to put an item i don't need for one character in a shared storage so i could give it to another character that could use it!!!
