Jackpot on claimable got EGO rating already!

The problem here is that the prizes being untradeable SCREWS the rest of us getting something new for our main characters. I've pulled two weapons I ALREADY had with this character. And I don't even HAVE very many unnamed weapons to begin with. But i cant trade them or sell them to earn scrip to get something I don't have or even give them to a friend. I'm stuck with useless weapons from the boxes which were implemented to all but GUARANTEE that the people who did their share of participation were able to receive SOMETHING for their effort if the arkfalls shat on them.

So now Trion is sh*tting on us too and may as well remove the weekly reward altogether if they arent gonna make the weapons tradeable. This whole event I'd like to come out with at least one new weapon from the weekly "reward." Whether its from the box itself or being able to trade or sell it for something new.

Sell or trade the weapon you already had. Problem solved.

the Jackpot weapons can't be traded no more, why do you have to put EGO rating on it? making these weapons untradeable and ego rating screws everyone vets and f2p players as well we can not trade for what we want or give them to clan members we ask that you trion change it back to the way it was.

The rest of us? Who is us? Not me. I've never done the low ego collects good weps and high ego claims them thing. But only because I didn't know I could until recently after reading these forums for the past few months. But by your rationale we should never get duplicates of any kind because no one wants them. Further if we do get duplicates then they should be tradable/sellable for the almighty scrip.

I guess I just realized that Trion just fixed the in game economy and will be bringing prices for everything down. How? Well if you can't sell jackpots anymore then there's no need for tons of scrip for this stuff. If scrip can be used to buy other hot commodities like boxes for gear and reqs (who knows...it could happen) then people will be saving their scrip for that instead. Why would you pay $10 million for a gun when you could buy something else that's just as needed for much much less?

Even if they don't allow reqs to be bought with scrip the prices will drop--but not at first. First they will go up if no t continue as is. But then when the trading/selling of old guns is gone and newer guns get introduced that can't be traded then there's no jackpots on the market. Mods might increase at first but mods are dropping like crazy right now. They may always drop like crazy from now on who knows?

So farming will have to be done the long hard way now and stuff will be more difficult to come by and people will be less willing to part with what they've farmed so hard for. Now people can focus less on exploiting and more on shooting.

To be honest if I'd been around long enough to do the multi-toon gear farmer thing I probably would have too since it didn't seem like Trion minded all that much. I mean nobody got banned or anything so why not? But they're no longer willimng to turn a blind eye and this results in some changes to how people play. I'm sure someone will figure out a way to make scrip off this--there's lots of smart people who play the game.

Could someone remind me why jackpots were made untradable in the first place? Did anything good come out of this at all?
Very few people got jackpots they are happy with. The economy got blown up to the point where prices have doubled if not tripled.
This whole idea was a disaster for us players. For trion on the other hand...

Having low ego jackpot weapons encouraging players to exploit coop maps to get more arkforges!

LOL Read your post again. Hahaha. Here's a summary:

"Trion didn't give me what I want"
"RNG is broken because I'm not getting the good stuff"

You do realize that random is not equal to guaranteed right? This is exactly why people are complaining--they don't think they should be randomly not given stuff like others are randomly given stuff.

If you want to do it quickly. They also say just earn it the old fashioned way but it will take longer.
