Oh? Its just so simple isn't it.. like not putting much thought into responses. To sell the ones I've already spent time (sometimes months), scrip, and headaches acquiring mods for? I guess I just realized that Trion just fixed the in game economy and will be bringing prices for everything down. How? Well if you can't sell jackpots anymore then there's no need for tons of scrip for this stuff. If scrip can be used to buy other hot commodities like boxes for gear and reqs (who knows...it could happen) then people will be saving their scrip for that instead. Why would you pay $10 million for a gun when you could buy something else that's just as needed for much much less?

Even if they don't allow reqs to be bought with scrip the prices will drop--but not at first. First they will go up if no t continue as is. But then when the trading/selling of old guns is gone and newer guns get introduced that can't be traded then there's no jackpots on the market. Mods might increase at first but mods are dropping like crazy right now. They may always drop like crazy from now on who knows?

So farming will have to be done the long hard way now and stuff will be more difficult to come by and people will be less willing to part with what they've farmed so hard for. Now people can focus less on exploiting and more on shooting.

To be honest if I'd been around long enough to do the multi-toon gear farmer thing I probably would have too since it didn't seem like Trion minded all that much. I mean nobody got banned or anything so why not? But they're no longer willimng to turn a blind eye and this results in some changes to how people play. I'm sure someone will figure out a way to make scrip off this--there's lots of smart people who play the game.

Tell me then, what SHOULD I do with two of the same weapon? On my main character? This has nothing to do with low ego toon farming. For me its about being able to trade weapons you don't want or can't use. In turn making the scrip to buy or flat out trade for something you CAN use. But with the items untradeable, it DOES screw players who have the unfortunate luck of pulling doubles. Of course you don't care cuz it wasn't you.

I mean, I came in with like 6 of the near 30 jackpot weapons available for this event, and still can't get anything different.. and there's no recourse. So the system implemented to make SURE we get something worthwhile for our time spent arkhunting.. something they actually did right.. is now wrong. Just like the rest of the game.

I don't mind having multiples of the same weapon sometimes because having different masteries and mods for different situations. Albeit, getting 3 beezles seems a little absurd.

Trion should at least wait until armistice is over before they implement this stupid patch! Please be considerate!

Well I get my last weekly "reward" tomorrow and I'm totally expecting to get something I already have again. In which case I'm gonna go postal. The one person you will see at the arkfalls, glowing red, it will be me.

I honestly don't care about farming weapons on my low ego toons. Just make the weapons tradeable. For CC the first weapon I pulled was the Heartseeker. It was cool but i don't really snipe except for fun on occasion. I simply traded it to a friend for Fates Kiss and everyone was happy! You know what I pulled the second time? The heartseeker again. But I sold it or traded it, I don't even remember, for something else. Everyone was happy. Then come to find out another friend wanted a heart seeker, so I had to find another one, cuz I really wanted them to have one cuz they love sniping. But anyway my point is if you got something you couldn't use you had the opportunity to turn it into something you could be happy with. Now that's gone and we're stuck with whatever random hell gives us.

This is a forum.a appropriate place to offer feed back.I don't know why but some one always has to try and make it a f2p vs old school day oners,or justify the grievance with the fact that trion needs to be profitably.if you want to defend trions position start your own post .call it complaining about people complaining about the underhanded tactics that they forget to mention that might severly affect the way people play and spend money on defiance.yiu can shorten it a bit if it's too long.it is possible to make money and keep your clients happy.I don't think people would have played this hard and bought as many inventory slots and characters if they had been open about the subtle changes trion made.my self, I'd pay them to leave the game the way it was.I am a beta tester and an ultimate preorder complete dlc owner and have spent an embarrassing amount on digital items in the game if you want my background.I understand when changes in the game get you frustrated.what drives me nuts are the people that complain about the complaining.They are entitled to express their unhappiness.you obviously feel entitled to play devil's advocate and defend trions moves and push them past going postal.feed back is good.doesnt always make changes.if you don't let them know you dont like it they will continue to walk all over you.yes we have the ability to choose to play or not.just as you too can read posts other than complaints.meh!
