Like the title asks, can we use converters on the Event Named weapons?
Ive always wondered but never tried to see if it works. I know in actuallity it should work, and thats what converters a re for. But since the radiant solstice weapons for example are ALL Radiation, I thought there may be a slight chance the nano is set in stone for them.
What I want to do if possible is change the nano on a DC12 Drummer.
Anyone ever try this? Input.
It's doable at the expense of the Tier 4 Synergy bonus. The most common SS weapons converted are the Golden Ring and Turtle Dove to Fire.Quote:

yea it works, i put a lightning mag mod converter on my precious.

I have a fire and a syphon dove (and a rad one, yes i love mah snipers), a syphon precious, they all work amazing.
Planning on trying a syphon thorny rose soon, i got a hb converter, but i'm not sure about that 1 yet.
A syphon dove is AMAZING for tanking some hits in round 5 and lower expeditions.Just like the devil's advocate.
Losing the fourth bonus on SS isn't a great loss. Putting a T5 crit barrel on the original DC5 Golden Toque is common and all of the T5 barrels are used on the DC9 Dancing Lady depending on playing style. As for converters, I put syphon on a well rolled SS blast rifle and it feels better than Purge with regard to life steal. I can't wait to try it out in expeditions.
Just a note the Nano effects do not stack. So you can put a converter say a bio converter on an SS AR but it becomes Bio instead of Rad not both rad+bio on same weapon. Just for clarification :D
