I was told by Trion support that everything advertised for the UE thats on the Defiance official site will be what you get when you pre-order it. Gamestop just made a mistake. Now if the season pass suddenly disappears from the official Defiance website then you can whine about it not being worth it and such.

We've found that the Ultimate Edition did have a mistake on the GameStop page and does not include the Season Pass. Apologies for any inconvenience. If you feel like you want to change your orders - please contact your retailer and get it changed. Thanks folks!
Do you know if that'll be the same for the Ultimate Edition wherever it's purchased?
I'm not too fussy to be honest, as I'll know before I pre-order that it's not included, but it's bit of a poor show for Gamestop to remove it at this stage. It's still on Trion's own page here too, so that may need changed, though to be fair I'm not sure if the US version of the page is correct.

You can cancel your order from gamestop if you don't like what you get when it is nailed down. Truthfully it is not a big deal. If they do not nail down exactly what is in each pack until one week before release it will not be too late to change/cancel anyone's physical copy orders. BUT from my experience game publishers bend over backwards and then some for prepaying customers. They Fing Heart prepaying customers. This one will not be any different. You will get more than you pay for with any upgraded edition I promise. I can't promise you will get exactly what you want or that you will like what you get. Just my 2 cents.

actually it isnt THAT clear... I mean especially given the fact that he added "If you feel like you want to change your orders - please contact your retailer and get it changed." at the end... If the UE indeed DOES include what we want it to include (the season pass) why would ANY of us feel the need to change our order? wed only feel that need if it DOESNT include it so the fact that he added that last line make sit seem like it doesnt include it, doesnt help the fact that hes message even says "does not include the season pass" but whats confusing is whether or no tthat means the UE doesnt include it or is he just pointing out that Gamestop WEBSITE doesnt include it (doesnt mean the actual box wont have it though)Quote:
