Think this is an issue on a general whole as i have friends on PC who cannot get past it and it is a little sad to see a good game with a wide story related issue there is a lot more i can do as there is the side missions but I would like to actually do the story stuff as I find it fun.
I done several side missions before moving onto this, did you try that? Did it work? Cause my brother is stuck in the same spot.
i just finished that quest i was stuck on it. i simply was on that part, and i press paused held L2 then pressed square *to logg out* logged back in, then the ranchers appeared

I'm surprised at how tight lipped the dev team is too, specially for one that seems to move so slowly. I don't know if that's the norm but so far the problems i've seen haven't been solved (even after several days of being reported) and they don't even talk about it... barely any "we're aware of it" posts or anything. :/
I had the same problem with this mission. But after I did a Shadow War I was able to complete it. I think that by being shifted into the Shadow War phase and then the shift back put me in the proper phase to do the mission. Hope this helps.
same, been 5 days for me, gets to healing the ranchers while you defend and he glitches. bugged and reported daily, i have 12 side missions left then have nothing left to do lol. please fix this asap.

Go to customer support chat on the Trion website, tell them and they'll boot you past the mission and give you all the credits for doing it.
i just got them to get me to bypass the mission by writing a ticket in the game. now i wrote it at 2a.m. went to sleep. later at noon i went to check to see if they looked and they did but couldn't get me to bypass it cuz i had aborted the mission. i had to restart the mission then respond back telling them that i have done it. went back to check 2 hours later and it was already done.
they said on the ticket that they are sorry and its a known issue, sorry the inconvenience and that i would still get rewards and credit for the mission.
