    Server Update: April 5th 2:30pm PT - All Platforms!
    We will be starting server updates on ALL Platforms beginning at 2:30pm PT.

    Server Downtime:
    Date: April 5th, 2013
    Time: 2:30pm PT
    Duration: 30 minutes (1 hour for Xbox 360 NA and EU)

    Patch Notes:
    - Fixed a ****load of server crashes
    - Removed a broken superweapon
    - Reduced vehicle despawn time from 20 to 10 seconds
    - Fixed the “Mines of Madness” pursuit to update on finding the “That’s All I Got” data recorder
    - Adjusted location of the “Hope” data recorder at Union Depot mine

    Update: 3:40pm
    We are working to bring all servers back online after our applied update. We expect to have servers back within the hour.

    Out of Curiosity, what was this super weapon?

    Sledge, its great that you fixed the recorders, but what about the missing challenge for pursuit? without it fixing hope does very little :(

    BTW in Marin a few missions are missing for people like Dam Defense and Technical Difficulties.

    Did they mean "put up measures to prevent server crashes?"

    Several players have suggested making it where vehicles didn't despawn so fast. Why was the opposite achieved? Just curious why the dev team chose this route.

    i found it annoying have 30 Challengers in my sight during and Arkfall. Glad they went this route. Why would you want it longer, RP reasons? (serious question not meant to be condescending)

    Yes I agree thank you for all your hard work and constant efforts to make a better game. You can't say that about alot of companies. Keep up the great work!

    Nah, just sometimes I like to get out, do a few things, then hop right back in. Usually despawns right when I'm done doing what I'm doing. But hey, this route is cool too, not what I wanted, but then again, I can't have everything I want, so I'm good with it :)

    I would be happy if it despawned as soon as a player gets out, but when spawned, go ahead and spawn the player inside of it by default. I guess my request wasn't worded right. I've been dealing with a lot of lag issues so when spawning I lag to "enter" the vehicle and sometimes those spikes will cause my vehicle to despawn before I get in.

    Technically it could despawn as soon as a player gets out, but when spawned, go ahead and spawn the player inside of it by default.

    Nice k, thats what I was thinking. It sweet to pull up to a shop, hop out, sell, hop back in. Possibly in the future it they could develop rules that will allow that to work, but not allow them to pile up in my LOS.

    Please I beg you fix the bug on the mission Old Friends Old Swords where the ranchers are nowhere to be found on Xbox 360 and from what I have heard other platforms the main story is unable to be finished with this bug this needs a hotfix we know that you guys do everything you can to make Defiance the best gaming experience ever and well the game is awesome but when stuff like this happens it ruins it for many people Please Fix It.....

    I take it this is mainly a bug fix update then. Will you be bringing out updates that puts more clothing or vehicles in, but i guess them ideas are for future updates.:( But keep up the good work TRION!

    PC Here. Server maintenance isn't supposed to start for another 10 minutes but the servers are down anyway. At least for me. Anyone else seeing this?

    You should have got the digital deluxe version of the game, you would have gotten the best armor you'll ever get in the game since the beginning. But i'm all for more vehicles. So limited and *****y colors to be honest.

    Same here was checking it out and saw it was'nt supposed to start for 10 min and was wondering :confused: as well

    Because they get in the way of re-acting with loot, quest object, and quest givers...
