Server Update: April 5th 2:30pm PT - All Platforms!

Is the Servers down at minute on Defiance could someone tell me as I just bought it and I have no idea why I cant play game at min?

I have to play GO GO!! :-D

If you preordered you got the challenger u see people riding around in. Otherwise you have to find a vendor that sells vehicles. Off the top my head I don't recall which one does this. But there is a better ATV you can get.mthe Hannibal I believe.

Here in Ca severs on ps3 are timing out. Maybe its an hour all around platforms

As I said, I am new to PSN and the PS3... Don't know why you mentioned LBP, unless you have some sort of horrible experience with that game... LOL, maybe the rag doll gives you nightmares?

This is day 3 of the launch. That's all I was saying... Excuse me if I expected better execution... I paid 60 bucks for a game to play, and I still haven't played it yet... Seems to be a pretty legit gripe, if you ask me...

Why can you not drop sell trade these items? They take up slots that I want to open. If you don't need it you should be able to get rid of it.

Yea servers are down for texas PS3 users I know that much. Should be back up shortly I would expect though.

This doesnt help characters that collected that data recorder before you patched.
Ive still not got the ability to collect it, because i already have, and its still not showing as completed in my pursuits.

I had this same problem it's kinda good to know it's not only me that has had this bug i thought i did it wrong.

I want them to put in a lot more stuff. like weapons and shields when we finish a ark fall. there is not a lot of anything maybe 1 or 2 things right now.

LMAO..always the simple dumb justification its free. That's the only thing ps3 users can find to bash xbox..this and that are free. Good for you, most of us do not care about paying for a subscription for a service. Who in the hell cares about youtube being free? Honestly..the logic for pandering to one console can be truly amazingly ludicrous these days. I understand if you said "Exclusives", or "I like the controller better", or "The UI appeals more to me" but to complain about a service that costs $4 a month on average is a matter of choice and opinion. You say milking? Lol..milking what? You pay the same exact amount for DLC as an xbox user does. Oh btw we get free games too...:p and I pay for most of my dlc by using bing rewards..

I rather doubt that they give a damn about what vehicle clutter does to player systems. Cutting down on Vehicle clutter helps their server performance as the server doesn't have to keep track of a bunch of idle vehicles. I'll bet after the launch madness ends they will put the Vehicle timer back up to 20 secs or more.

So, earlier it showed that I couldn't log on because the server was down. Now it's just telling me that I can't connect, that I'm timing out. WTF? I know **** happens, but this is PS3. Never had a bad server on this **** before.

I have a new word made up just for this game! "SUPERMETHACRACKOLINE!" It like if you took a pile of super **** and crack and dumped gasoline on it! look how addicted we all are already lol

I think the admins just wanted some Arkfall loot to them selves, crafty hunters..

So, Why is it that they do server maintenance during PRIME hours for gameplay? why not tackle these updates in low traffic hours, like 3am or 4am, hell take your time and shut it down for a couple of hours instead of killing it as soon as I get home and log on and group up and then rushing to get it back up in 30mins (which never happens)

Well i think the MODs will turn the servers back on at the same time the xbox server does

For those having trouble logging in on Ps3 or Xbox360. Quit the game and try again. It worked for me.

TRION: "We are taking the servers down for maintenance, should be bout an hour."

Defiance players: "WHY CANT I GET ON THE SERVERS DONT WORK WHATS HAPPENING?!"

After the patching stage, I'm getting a time out every time I try to connect.

Can we get an update on the first post as servers come back on line or if ETAs are not met?
