Now, Kon, I do apologize if you felt I was pointing fingers and I understand how you came to that conclusion.
Sadly, these methods of inflating the game economy have been going on long before I had ever spoke to you.
I understand the need to offer high for things you really want and in those cases it should be viewed as a one off instance.
However, many other players, specifically newer players assume the higher price is the actual value of the items and that is where the issue lies.

I buy, sell and trade a lot in Defiance. I try my best to be fair. It's taken me almost a year to get a fraction of what gear is being sold for. Which is why I was asking my original questions.

On your original question of how to make the mils, if you run expos and sell all the mods you get you can make quite a bit pretty fast. I can pull around 20k from the vendor from a run, that's not counting the Times when you get good mods that you can put on the market

The most scrip I've ever had at one time is 4 million. The most I've spent is 3 million. I have almost 3 million now..That's only because of the past Midsummer event. Vendor food does count up.

I do my own thing when I sell. I sell cheap. Sometimes cheap cheap. Because, I'm trying to keep the economy reasonable. Not overly crazy bs. But, I do understand whatever the seller thinks or wants to sell for..or what the buyer wants. It's their decisions in the end.

The past Midsummer event, our clan decided to talk to other clans to make a deal. 50k for T4 Mod's & Oj's for 100k. To trade with each other & everyone gets what they want for reasonable price. Helping each other was a real sweet *** idea...Until the event sucked & the T4 mods were so rare..That event ruined the idea. So crossing our fingers next event it will be different.

    So..Now I'm selling T3 SOL/ST mods for 10k & T4 SOL/ST mods for 20k. Because, I'm tired of seeing people wanting 1 million for a single mod. Lol.

If you ever want to do real reasonable trades/script hit me up. We will always be able to work something out by the sounds of it.

Now that's hard to believe. I've met Day 1 vets who were only around 30 million scrip.

The real difference in the defiance economy is trying to navigate it. Since we can't easily view items in game or have a price history, higher price points that don't sell tend to be on the front forum page and cause prices to inflate.

Those who feel like taking the time to work the market will always make more profits. Those who don't want to fool with it will sell to those rich people and make a meager earning enough to maybe keep their weapons up. Nothing wrong with either way to play.

I'll be happy with my T4 mods and still probably beat many running the T5 that paid an exponentially higher price for that single linear step improvement.

This is true. In a way everyone wins. Often times I'd buy about half a dozen to a dozen mods from someone for roughly 300k-1M. In one hand this person just got themselves a decent amount then and there. It's a quick buck. On the flip side I can "potentially" make atleast 2 to 3 times or even more of the value that I purchased them for. The difference is that I have to either find or advertise people that are willing to buy it at the price that I set. I gain money not from the item but more so from the time I spend flipping it.

Also in terms of making millions, it's very easy. So easy that I gave away nearly 10M scrip in the last Consortium clan event leaving myself with less than a million. 1 week later. I'm up to 17 million

As a trader the last thing I'm worried about is stacking scrip.

Scrips great for the "micro transactions" though when you buy mods
