Back.

I haven't played this game in several months (Stopped playing just after Alcatraz due to a few family issues not the game itself) and I just got myself a windows laptop so I figured I might try to get back into it through PC. But I have a few questions.
1. Have BMGs lighting been fixed?

2. Have Crimefighters been dimmed?

3. Has it became easier to get into the warmaster without getting kicked?

4. Is there a playable goat race yet?

5. Have motorcycles been put in yet?

6. Can I use my PS3 controller for it?

BMGing is only bad during the events and they said they are working on the blinding issue but who knows.

They said before I left that they were doing a BMG overhaul so I had hoped that had happened by now.

3. When you play on PC, this is not an issue.

6. Try joytokey, not sure what else you would need to use a PS3 controller on Windows.

I use inputmapper to emulate my ps4 controller.
Works perfect with the pc controls. (I use a hybrid controller/mouse setup)

You can since your ps3 controller with PC. At least you used to be able too.

also,the wm south of Overpass has worked< amazingly,for the last few times i went.

4. Is there a playable goat race yet? No

5. Have motorcycles been put in yet? such an awesome idea and so easy to implement,but No

Welcome back, we missed u SO much Chris! I hope this means u r coming back to the Defiance RP forum too! :D

Everyone has answered most of your questions with the same sad "NO", but there r a few disputes, so I'll put in my 2 cents, but keep in mind I'm on PC/NA! :)

BMGs still blind me at night, and in the Dark Matter expedition which is so dark, not just special events, but I always thought it was just a part of the game, so "Oh well, just another hurdle to jump!" :)

I really rarely get booted from WM (usually only if there r gazzilions of other players there) but then I rarely got booted out of WM before the fix! :)

I don't see much difference in the Crime Fighters! Still a lot of fun, but not my preferred weapon, but I still see a lot of them out there! Some say there is a shorter range in the MK II, but I don't see it, so IDK! :)

Anyway. glad u r back, now go have some FUN in Defiance! LOL! :cool:

Welcome back Chris!

If you're going to PC, then you're unlikely to be booted from Warmaster or any other instance (it's always *much* better on PC than on PS3 in that regard).

BMG's and Crimefighters are flashy, but they don't cause FPS drop on PC that much as they do on consoles. The flashy stuff can be remedied by using scoped weapon.

Not sure about PS3 gamepad per se, but I have one gamepad designed to work with both PC and PS3 (it has two connectors and a switch) and a PS4 controller which just works with PC without any hassle if I plug it via Mini-B USB cable. All you need for them to work with Defiance is a Xinput emulator, I use x360ce. There's a custom XInput driver especially for PS4 controller, so the emulator won't be not even needed if you install it. The only thing that won't work is its touchpad.

It also worth mentioning that Defiance works with controller AND mouse simultaneously, so you can use controller for movement and mouse for aiming if you want it that way.

Thank you for all the info everyone has sent me. I will be on within the next few (Once my slow internet has finished downloading the game :D ) and I will try to get on the RP forum but I may not have all the time in the world.

Also I was wondering if any Devs see this would it be possible to transfer my PS3 DLC to my PC. No biggie if you can't my PS3 is gathering dust right now until my older sister takes it to college with her.
