If it makes you feel any better, this has been happening to people since at least 1945.
47 re rolls for a total of 48 separate masterings of Chaos to get damage. 3,275 total ark forge spent over the course of a month to get that roll.
Why would I remaster it at 150 ark forge a pop to get 1% increase in damage? That's really inefficient. I would have taken recoil, and possibly reload, as an alternate to the damage roll but the first 15 masteries I saw a total of four different ones that just cycled.
I think it's time to change the amount of af it costs to reroll masteries to be more in line with the pricing for re rolling a set roll. An oj dmg roll is basically a green roll now so shouldn't it cost 20 af instead of 75 af. A supreme mastery could cost the same as a blue roll. It should actually cost less since your not supposed to be able to re roll the same set roll and you can a mastery roll
I think Trion should hire someone that has a degree in finance because whomever they have deciding what stuff costs could do better by throwing darts at price tags.
There's a reason that the Walmarts of the world do great business, 100 people will buy 1 widget for 1$ dollar, but no one person will buy one widget for 100$ dollars.
The question is, does Trion want to continue trying to make their money from the few that will pay for their overpriced items, or do they want to try to sell them cheaper in order to get many more people to buy their items.
