that would be cool, but apart from a sword model that pepakura thinks is one object only (which im gonna try my self) i cant think of anything else really..

i just cut the helmet up a little bit to actually get my head into it! and it fits once its on at 1013x the size it is as a .obj , but the problem is, the suit of armor at the same scale..is 2m tall, and thats just to the neck... so ive set it to my height, and most parts of it are to scale with my body, ie arms are only 3cm longer, feet are only 1cm smaller then the boots i will have on.

but ive got 1 month till comic con in london... so i dont think it will be done by then, so will have to be the march one. so there is no rush on this. its taken me 1 week to make just the helmet, still need to fireglass resin it, and then paint...

just a thought, maybe the blade could be made with something like this clear flat borosilicate glass tubing, figure a way to seal it and use like colored water inside and a flashlight in the handle to have a glow. tho it seems this (what is linked) does come in a couple colors
was searching for flat tubing thought that may be better then round tubing. and that was the first thing I saw, and as far as I went with the search, just an Idea

NOTE: this is just theory, not something I have seen done or actually have done

well, this is weird... i went into the game, to try and find somthing to use for scale.

work out how tall i am in game for example.

AHH the dodge challenger, a real life car! i am the exact same height as it in game... and it is...57 inches tall... or 4ft9inches... all our characters and npc (except Torc) are under 5ft tall!

it must just be a super sized version of the car right?

goes to san fran to stand next to real life buildings, compare to google street view with other people... yep were 5ft tall...

good idea, but i dont know how tough it is... i might get carried away and duel a saber person... glass everywhere.

an idea i have is to somehow make it out of plastic. maybe buy a saber blade, and flatten it...

Here's an suggestion: use thin plywood (you can get it as thin as 1/8 inch here in the USA. Not sure about there) or cardboard, then go to a marine store and buy some PVC Lay-Flat Hose to encase it in. I know it comes in blue but guessing that you can probably get it in several different colors. You will have to figure out how to seal the end yourself though.

will have to look into that, but i think wood will be the best option, and i have fiberglass cloth and resin i can coat it in.

just about 1/2 way through the main helmet build, a little bigger then before. but on 300gsm paper/110lb card , so its far far more sturdy already. and once fiber glassed, will be amazing.

Ok its been a while since i updated this...

    but here we go.

The Helmet is coming along, all i need is a break in the weather so i can fiberglass it, and it should be ready for painting. http://imgur.com/a/mwVOc

I made the sword and Resin'ed it. and need to work out if i will make the blade, or just have it on my belt. http://imgur.com/a/EuXCT

I also made some grenades! i used to model for a grenades refill on the ground, not the actual grenades, as i couldnt find them http://i.imgur.com/YN410ol.jpg

And ive made all the bits of the Final Caress LMG. still need to put them together, and i think i will re-do one of the longer bits.. its crooked. http://imgur.com/a/Zss9S in that album, i have 2 pics on a green mat, one shows the individual bits used to make the part, so you can get an idea of why it takes a while... i did all the gluing on the gun tonight, only took 4.5 hours...

Next i will start unfolding the 3D model of the body, so i can print it, and make it.

also in the mean time i took 2 days to make this pumpkin http://imgur.com/a/TlfNg for halloween, needs another coat of paint.
