Even crappy console ports are better on PC than on the console they're intended for. So, generally good idea is to always get PC version if you have the option.

It's cool man, the good thing about The Glorious PC Master Race is the tech is always getting better and cheaper.

Actually this game runs fine on ps3 considering it was made for PS3 and Xbox and the pc version will always be scaled down to the level of PS3 and xbox on this game.

Not had any problems on my PS3 other then the normal MMo launch week lag things you expect opening week.

I haven't experienced the glitches and disconnect problems on ps3 like Xbox users have, but major Arkfalls do drop frame rates down. Still, console version is better than my PC would be.

I can't speak for Xbox, but the ps3 version is nowhere near as bad as that video suggests.

World is about the same size as DCUO and you dont have the horrid que times from match makeing like you can in DCUO. But on that note you dont have the loot like you do on DCUO with all flash and so on its more even till you start finding the +'s on weapons and so on higher level.

I've been playing it on 360 and haven't had a single problem. No glitches, no broken quests, no connection issues. It's pretty damn fun so far.

Other than the expected MMO launch bumps it has been a blast. Chasing Arkfalls is fun, attacking Raider camps with a buddy or two is entertaining, hell even cruising the coast is fun. Enjoying the scenery, attacking random Raiders or 99ers. This game is my new addiction, and I'll be playing it for a looong time. Xbox player by the way. No stuck quests, no game breaking glitches, nothing.

besides the server issues, which are on every platform. the game runs and looks great and im on xbox. hdmi cable with 1080p on a great tv has my xbox looking just as good as it does on pc to me. lol i watched livestreams on twitch of some pc games just to see what the graphic hype was about...some games look good, but some look like they belong on a ps2 lol. i dont see the reason for bad reviews other than the servers.

I tend never to listen to reviews as they are often biased based on the person who is writting them. Some reviewers hate RTS so they will always mark them down, some hate RPG's and prefer FPS so they will mark them down. I often look at reviews from actual gamers on various game sites and places like Amazon on customer reviews.

For me I don't usualy play shooters let alone multiplayer I realy dislike them mainly due to the fact I am not that good at them. I am very surpprised to find myself though liking this game, not sure what it is about the game or the gameplay that keeps me logging in but its been done with a style and flare I like.
For the PC gameplay is pretty basic as this is a console port and at times it tells with the lack of HD textures and the horrible LOD ranges or as some say culling of on screen models, this usualy tells on big arkfalls where players and mobs will vanish from sight due to the game code removing them from the screen to keep performance up. I hope they fix this for the pc soon as its frustrating.
Story arc wise I am enjoying it a lot of the npc's have their own agenda's and the tie into the first 14 minutes of the tv series works well.

Character progression not realy there meaning a level 1 ego rating can do the same content as a level 1000 ego rating as all the weapons never vary in damage numbers, its more on stats and effects as well as weapon mods which you can attach if you have the salvage for it.

Release has been a bit buggy but being a long time mmo player this is expected from any mmo release. From here on in the game can only get better as the devs work hard to smooth out the kinks and add content.

I just hope it is as fun as Mass Effect MP, and not as boring as borderlands 2.

So far it has done a good job at filling the ME3MP shaped hole left in my soul my the sudden cut-off of support.

My experience of it has been fine so far. I saw some horrible lag during an Arkfall last night. The framerate collapsed. The sound became a muddy soup. I could only hear my gun loading and the occasional shout. Players and bosses would appear then vanish. This wouldn't have been so bad if the event was around 5 mins but at 20 mins plus, it became a hateful grind. Common sense was telling me to quit but I was determined to see it out and get to the celebration jump at the end, which is always fun

it is true they are having a harder time on the consoles with bugs and lag, but its mostly the console developers fault not the game developers. Nobody has tried what they are doing. To even get this far is amazing. If you knew how convoluted the xbox server cluster **** is you would understand.

The Ps3 version has actually gone quite smoother then the xbox from what I have heard. I have had no problems with it besides the usual small lag spike which they are working on.

Only gets cheaper once it becomes out-dated... which unfortunately with PC, specific tech becomes outdated within a month or two typically.

I have wondered if most of the lag problems are down to the limitations of the console. The PS3 seems to be running a lot smoother at the moment, so it may just be server issues. Personally, I can't wait for the next gen

Xbox here, and lets put it this way, picked the game up on Tuesday, have not been able to get into the game at all. And I find it very hard to believe, that anyone playing on Xbox saying they havent had any problems. Trion themselves even put Xbox at the top of the list for major problems with server issues and people not even being able to login.

I was reticent about buying this game for my ps3, but my God I am so glad I did. I am completely addicted, I normally play Battlefield and Killzone series. The game is running very well, some issues yes but they appear to be working through them. It has been a while since I found myself dying to get on a game first thing in a morning.
Probably the last time was FFVII many years ago :)

me too. I have been at arkfalls with more people then I could count.
no framerate drops or dips, no glitches or dropped from the event, loot system working Much Better,
still need a few more ammo boxes at Major arkfalls, and some audo fine tuning but
other then that I have had NO problems on the PS3
in fact my friends and I, think it runs really well.

if you do not agree with me you Really needed to play Ultima Online
when it first came out it was riddled with bugs, a year later it was amazingly perfect.

IMO this has been one of the better mmo launches of recent. Wows launch was abysmal, Swtor wasnt to good, Tera was ok, Warhammer was a disaster, ect ect. Keep it up trion. You have an amazing game here.

It runs great on the ps3, but my only gripe is the framerates.

When the servers work et al, it's a great experience on 360. It's not perfect, but as a launch-window MMO on console, it's actually very good. Only more fun to come.

I fear that, as a beast of varied heritage, it'll get slated by people for not being what they want: a 'pure' MMO, or Borderlands-lite (BL being one of the most over-hyped games of this recent generation, no matter how good it is..), etc.

This game does not replace ME3 MP.
Even if it's 3rd person it reminds more of the gameplay in Borderlands than anything... so if your preference is ME3 MP then don't buy it.
    Saved you some money.
