My opinion about this Hulker Hell Event [10-14-2015]

Okay guys, this is the Hulker Hell Event I'm talking about. :cool:

I feel so strange that no one say something about it here. So I guess I'm gonna be the one. :o

If you have any idea free feel to add. :D


PROS

The Legacy Hacker Suit!

Nice new synergy (especially the ammo part)

The daily and weekly award!

CONS

Server overload (maybe they can't fix it for no budget)
especially for the Major Hulker Hell event final (You can't see any other players.)

Drag me to hell poorly designed. It's long and boring. And there is bugs (will write in the end)
It will take forever and you won't get good reward. But might be good place for mod.
The tips can be more helpful, if you want to design it more fun, show seperate into 3 waves or 5... So we know what stage we on. You can make it a real hard wave 3, but keep it short...

The Pumpkin created by the Hallow Point synergy can hurt others.
So if someone shoot the pumkin and you are right on it, then u gonna fly~
This remind me that the Volge Incursion the plant 3 bomb part.
(You kindly plant the bomb and someone on purpose shoot at it...)

BUGS

You can't invite anyone after the Drag me to hell 12 ppl instance started.
Their is a bug that even it's not finished, it will ask you to open the box and leave.
If ppl leave, it will be even harder for those who left to complete it. Since they can't invite any new players in.
Sometimes in the DMTH (drag me to hell) instance, the mini map is not showing.
My shril bomb seems not working well (have not tested too much)


OTHER INFO

I played around 30+ hr after the patch
3 holiday pursuit already completed the first 2. Got the suit. LOL
The last one is about 400/666. 200 + to go.
I got 2 oj weapon, one from HH one from the present.
And I dont think DMTH will drop oj, so just find more major...
The pistol oj seems easy to get, then should be shotgun, infector.
AR and SMG seems harder...

CAN BE IMPROVED

XXX Invited me to a public instance, but I don't know what it is...

We have more than 1700 clan members now. I know in the Ctrl option clan part only show some of them. (Those name started with A, B, C...)
But I hope when you see the full clan list (Press U) Will you plz make the go to Clanmate function work here as well?
Right now if someone if one of our clanmate found an HH (Major Hulker Hell), and his name start with X Y Z... Then only thing he can do is invite us to group then teleport...

Being able to hit other players with an exploding pumpkin is not a con, it is a pro! That is what I like the most about the new weapons. When the BMG spammers have so many BMGs out and I can't see anything, I just drop a pumpkin on them and shoot it.

Yeah, I have to say, I can't resist shooting a pumpkin when I see it - it's just too round and orange and inviting!

Enjoying the event so far, racking up hulker kills and a few wins.

Should have the pursuits done this weekend.

Now, if I can find a buyer for my other kidney, I can get the outfit bundle... Love that skimpy little number!

Thats right blame people using bmgs & ignore the fact there is 300+ players at a major final & 30,000 bugs running around, not to mention the greeen mist these things have no effect on what you can & cant see it is purely down to bmgs being used!

I am pretty sure that the Pumpkins created by [3] Hallow Point do not provide friendly fire (sort of like bio or shrill grenades in PVE). HOWEVER, Pumpkins that are at HH events (i.e. majors) can do damage to anything/anybody in the area.

Agree for the most part of what you post BUT I like DMTH. I find it challenging enough but with damage focused loadouts it goes by pretty quickly. For example did 3x DMTH, 1x full Major (yay! up to three total now) 3x RoP in about 60 mins with some time wasted talking and trading.

My biggest issue with any event, would have to be the car spawners. I can't use anything explosive because there is a huge chance of it going off in my face from hitting one of the 20+ cars being spawned.

Infector bugs, BMG streams, and exploding pumpkins are tolerable in comparison. Sure shooting cars with infector gives you extra points but damn.... why you have to want keycodes so bad.

BMG is a old issue. I think there is no way to remove to BMG. The best solution is reduction the visual effect of that thing, but it might cusomer some time to do it. That's why they dont wanna change.

I am really enjoying the whole thing. Yeah there are still DCs at the majors due to huge overload, which is part BMG, part to many people and part spikes (yes dropping a bunch of spikes is just about as hard on the servers as the BMG) except those pumpkins spikes which don't seem as bad. Lots of fun in all 3 of the events, I think the DmtH was a very good idea and its nice that you can make it private if you want.

I am very glad they made the gifts tradable again so much better. I can handle just regular OJs for the weekly vs named, makes the named harder to get. Now make this retro so we can trade some of the old named ones we got before.

I love this new syn, the best yet in my opinion. So all in all I think this maybe the best holiday event they have done yet. :)

I find those pumpkin spikes I have seen people using interesting, myself. Of course you have to buy one of their limited edition Costume Bundles to get those spikes, and I don't have the money for it. Besides are any of the vehicles, gear or outfits in them actually even that cool? I have only seen that red soldier one, so I don't know, but know I don't like it.

Sometimes my first instinct when I saw those bombs are.... Jump away... There is a bomb. Then I find out it's a spike..
