I support this change too. Etaew mentioned loot Karma which is going to Trove, defiance should have the same.

Still early days and had 2 ojs from majors but no jps.
But there's no change there lol as I haven't had a jp drop from an arkfall since these holiday events started.
Edit. I've had a Hobgoblin since this post.
I personally like this event but like everybody wish i was getting named drops. The blue drops have allowed me to build scrip and parlay things into some guns i wanted. My clan is great and we basically give whatever we need to others. Ive managed to collect one of every event oj minus the sniper rifle and in a lot of cases multiples. I gave a lot of extras away. I have been able to collect a 3xreload courier and a 3xdmg AR through trading bc of this event so its a sucess in my mind bc of that
I'm happy with my OJ weeklies. Seriously I can't see the reason why named weapons are always preferred other than selling them for way too high prices ;) Just like purple mods at all, 300k for a single purple mod? People who say they have millions of scrip are people who have spend a lot of money. For regular users this sums are astronomical high :)
Whatsoever, I like this event, especially because of the high drop rate of blue mods. People ranting about OJ weapons and blue mods, already have too much to play with. Purple weapons are working great ;)
Pulled one or two OJs - nothing I'll ever use.
Have to say I won't be losing any sleep if I don't get a named weapon.
The synergy and gear on offer is mediocre, at best - not a lot of imagination went into this selection...
got my first oj from a event yesterday XD. the drop rate sucks
That depends on your definition of leeching. If you tag the event and stand outside of the Threat Level circle, you don't contribute to the difficulty of the encounter. You also don't get paid in currencies like the tryhards and disruptive players do.
We as meta players have two settings when it comes to DPS: Carry and Don't Carry. There really is no middle ground because in the end, it's the player that has to decide "I've done enough." Expecting us to carry the Speshul Forces just because we have the resources to do so despite our disapproval in their methods isn't going to get anyone far.
If there are 10 6k EGO Ark Hunters and an enemy with 10 million health in front of them, is a meta player leeching if he quickly deals 1 million damage within 5 seconds and watches the other 9 struggle through the rest of the fight for the next 5 minutes?
