I have not pulled an Event Jackpot in 9,842* arkfalls in any event majors since the first Purge event. All my event JPs were from Weekly awards or trades.Quote:

Any way, as to the JP drops, I only got a Tombstone LMG that I immediately traded to a clan mate who got a Spine Chiller SMG, and since we mainly each wanted the other's weapon from the event, it worked out swell! I got my JP reward at the end of a Hulker Hell MAF on my main 6000 level character and was shocked, as I mostly had been getting blues, a few purples, and a very few OJs over the four cxharacters I would play one at a time. All my characters had won their event outfits at the time, and had killed about 400 Hulkers each by that time - I know because I checked! :)
Anyway, still having fun at the event even if I don't have as many Jackpots as I'd like! :D
Not all people who are out of the major circle are leeching. I NEVER enter the major circle. Why? If there is anything I have learned from this game during events is that the circles are red for a reason. They are red because this is the games way of telling you "DO NOT ENTER-LAG/HARD FREEZES ARE WHAT AWAIT YOU IF YOU ENTER THIS BMG CIRCLE OF DOOM." What I do is I stay away from the circle get to a really high vantage point and use my surge bolter or lob grenades from my scourge. I think something has been done to the spawn rate of the holiday event majors again, for the past few days I've noticed a low spawn rate, similar to what I've complained about before in the PTS forums. Also I know they said they doubled the stats for jackpot drops but even now its still pretty shameful. Like it was fairly obvious prior to the tweaking of the jp stats that it was unreasonably low but its still awfully low....so not only are holiday event major spawn rates low again its also seems the jackpot drops are still low.
The Drag me to hell minors aren't even worth the time or effort, even before they did the fix to lessen the insane amount of hulkers that spawned inside...the rewards in any minor have always been garbage..still you would think that with a threat 10 and over 5-10 people participating in them they (Trion) would at least grant better rewards then green & blue vendor trash.

During the first week of the event, it seemed, from anecdotal evidence, that the JP drop rate had gone up some. But after the weekly reset Tuesday, it seems that it has declined back down to below horrible. I, of course, don't have access to actual numbers but I am in a pretty large clan and we hear about it when a JP drops.Quote:

Opinion of the player's preference I suppose. To each their own. I'm much happier with my inferior weapon that has only .73 less fire rate than the JP that I gave away & people are paying 10-15m and more. I paid 600k for my much superior weapon. But that thanks for your concern.
**** I haven't even got on since my 43 hr straight marathon this past weekend & best reward was a t4 berserker. Should call this event HULKER BLUES!!! F*^K running around like a chicken with my head cut off for a load of blue ****. And sorry but some people have high expectations. Ex specially when they've put over a grand into this game. I guess with Trion you should wish in one hand and s*^t in the other and see which fills up faster.

I'd like to get something good, at least once, without farming the game until I almost hate it.
There are no rewards in Defiance, not-a-single-one, so it's currently not a videogame, lol. This kind of event should be a nice break, a moment of fun and glory (?) where every players can get something nice, everytime.
Yes, everytime ! (A good Oj is still pretty damn rare, and no one cares about the blue and purple stuff anyway). And I don't care about the market too, I see you Consortium.
We don't need more majors, we don't need more jackpots, we don't need a 3 weeks event because it's long, boring, frustrating and useless (uhm, also, when we ask for a new outfit, we don't really want to pay for a bonus PP, title, vehicle etc, ju... just the outfit, uh) we need fun and good stuff. Both !
You, Trion, did a good job on this one, let's be honest. The outfits are nice, the minor arkfalls need some work but they're pretty fun too, and everyone love Hulkers.
Now you can try the same thing with a shorter event and better drops and see what happens. :o

My drops have actually gotten better and I feel better about the time I put in each day. Nicely rolled oj's and two jp's as of now.
Wasn't sober but pulling my 1st ever JP from an Arkfall without realizing it.
Got no ojs from an major/minor and both my weekly gifts were 2 of the lamest oj pistols possible. One was so lame I couldn't even give it away for free smfh. Needless to say, I'm done with this event. I should've stopped wasting time the 1st time I realized weekly gifts weren't named. Kick to our guts.
Blues, blues, blues and a few purple vendor foods and still no ojs or jp. Besides weeklies got oj shottys and a hp sniper bio. Why are u doing this to me RNGESEUS. Since the beginning of this event all I've seen are the same people that gets ojs and jp every time I joined a major...WTF.
I've been back a few days and I've been disappointed with the rewards just blues all the way only one oj invader and that's it,
I've had better rewards from the rotp minors I get that trion is more or less forcing us to buy the lockboxes for jps but they would have been a weekly reward as well
This event is a joke. However, the joke is on Trion and here's the punchline: Fallout 4, Star Wars Battlefront, and Black Ops III.

So in closing I have received 1, ONE Named weapon (Phantasm) my high ego toon gets mostly whites and greens with the odd blue thrown in, my mid is mostly blue with with purple thrown in and MY LOWEST is almost always guaranteed a T4 mod and various purples.....and yes the OJ rate is MUCH higher on my low ego toons (I have excluded the weekly "gifts" from these counts because EVERYONE gets the weekly "gift").
I play my mid and high ego toon the same amount the lowest toon is just run to get the weekly "gift" and from what I am seeing here THINGS APPEAR TO BE SKEWED towards lower ego toons, which to me is NOTHING TO DO with RNG but more so programming to REWARD lower ego's causing them to have to buy AF (or grind) to upgrade weapons as they level up AND DRIVING high ego toons to the bitstore TO BUY lockboxes to obtain the sought after nameds.
It would be very interesting to see the coding used for the RNG I would almost be willing to bet it is not coded as a true RNG but more so a EGO RNG.
Of course I freely admit this is all based on game play between my 3 toons but when the lowest ego least played toon gets more purples and OJ's then the other 2 well something certainly does seem off...........or maybe just "working as intended"
p.s. I have noticed this trend on the last 3 events my high ego crap mid ego not so bad, low....how come this is not falling on my high ego toon i.e. I got a piper on my low ego toon when it was only 320 gave it to my high ego toon and spent a butt load of AF to get it up to the 5611 ego it was at) AND DO NOT EVEN GET ME STARTED ON THE SUPREME WEAPON UPGRADE (my high ego toon has wasted tons of AF trying to do my piper, chaos etc. my low ego toon 100 AF and presto supreme!!!!) sorry to say this but after all of the money I have dropped on this game (last count about $500, AND YES I KNOW PEOPLE HAVE SPENT WAY MORE THAN THIS, BUT I am use to buying a game for $70-$80 maybe some DLC's ($10-$20) and THAT IS IT I play the game [i.e. Fallout 3, Fallout New Vegas, Borderlands {all}, Batman {all} etc. etc.] so to spend this much on one game is new to me AND now Trion/RNG seem to be slapping me in the face for having put this much time,effort, AND MONEY into one game)

;-) and GUESS WHAT.................as for Defiance to me now it is a "filler" and I have no intention of spending anymore money to get slapped in the face by the RNG buy more AF from the bitstore coding, I have not even renewed my patron subscription :-(
It is a shame that Trion is not really listening to the higher ego toons, I love the game, the friends I have made in the game but it seems to me that Trion has put on blinders and is only after newer players????
No jackpots, still... So seeing as HH is a bust, when is extra life exactly? Isn't it the 7th according to the site? So I'm guessing maybe around then.
