we all love Defiance but what are your thoughts about our game against this competitor to the MMO-FPS competitor
not really enough known to comment for me. still got over around a year left so i doubt we will know much any time soon.
I thought bungie said it wasnt gona be an mmo.
Screw destiny (even though it does look intresting) how about cyberpunk 2077
Not really the place to put this thread and it's Bungie/ Activision...and we will have to wait until E3 to see something about Destiny.
Im gona save my review on it till I see some gameplay. Anyone who says it sucks only says that because they hate the developer not a good way to judge a game.

well i do agree that its narrow minded, but i also disagree with some people do dislike games because they simply dont like the way some studios do games,i for one largly hated halo. so im not looking exactly waiting on tender hooks to see what destiny does. but that wont stop me checking it out. and hopefully being surprisedQuote:

And it's not affiliated with Microsoft from what I understand. Bungie did this one with Activision after they split from MS and lost the Halo franchise.

If you read the contract between activision and bungie I believe. It states the Destiny Game #1 to be PS3, Xbox 360, and possible Xbox 720. Then listed under Destiny Game #2 it stated PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox 720, and PC. So it's possible that because they have a 10-year development window after the release, they may remake the game for the next gen consoles and port it to PC as well.

I was actually speaking with a Gamestop rep today, he said theyre going all big throughout their store about advertisement. He said its Xbox/Playstation only and will be cross platform. (Howd hell they get cross platform where Defiance couldnt though is beyond me)
It's not cross platform. Just watched the Destiny livestream debut on IGN. On a side note, the game looks very interesting and from what iv'e gathered from the stream this game is going to be something nice.Quote:

From what I can tell here at work, it looks like it was only just announced...I would hardly call something that looks like info was released so recently you could damn near lick the ink off the screen "The Elephant in the Room". Destiny is a Bungie project, they have supposedly been working on it since ODST days as there are rumours of some Destiny related images hidden though out the game.
As far as I am aware Activision does not own any share in Destiny, they are just under contract to publish the games
