"Fought her like he was fighting a dragon."
Wat.
"The Sun-Sentinel reported that Gooden "did not have defensive wounds on her hands," indicating that a ritual stabbing may have taken place while she was overpowered—or after being beaten unconscious by an Xbox 360." LMFAO
Someone is killed and you people laugh and make jokes?
That may very well be, but I personally wouldn't use someone's death with video game circumstances as an opportunity to jump at people that would blame a game for something. I agree, that blaming games is completely ridiculous, but I think this is just outright disrespectful to the deceased. Especially so shortly after their death.
Moved thread to Off Topic from Gereral
I'm with Little on this one, as strange as the events are, it doesn't really warrant a thread where everyone giggles over them.
The media are bound to do something stupid and will probably blame videogames for this, it's their response to pretty much everything when games even come within ten feet of a violent event. You don't help anyone see how wrong the assumption is by making jokes over an article reporting a murder, you just throw fuel on the fire. :/
The circumstances are strange, but some lunatic apparently beats someone to death with a blunt object and because it's a 360 suddenly its okay to laugh about it? You might be mocking the circumstances and the assailant, but by doing that you mock the victim indirectly.
Show a little tact people. I have a sense of humour darker than the bottom of a mine and I still think this thread is in poor taste.
Warranty issue is moot, he'll have to use the general pop xbox in prison.
Must have been the Red Ring of death. But hey at least it won't give anymore fuel to gun grabbing politicians.
