'Hopping' should be banned it makes it all but impossible to hit the person using it, except with maybe a detonator or .. whatever shoots balls of goo.
also, how many times is the same player allowed to specifically target me in Shadow War before it becomes harassment?
It's weird as I started doing a bit more pvp. I am starting to actually like it if someone is constantly jumping. It seems easy to time it. When I'm sniping at least
This is the appropriate thread to ask: How would everyone feel about a reduce jump on dmg, for every other jump? That way you can still maneuver, but you cant hop your way to freedom.
Any feels?
I never understood what the issue with the hopping was either. Hop with them? I mean if it works for them, and saved them a few times then so be it. What's the difference in them hopping or rolling?
The problem with hopping is the fact that it stalls the battle, making it less fun, and it turns the game into a press X/Spacebar/Z? button game. Not to mention that it's just bullsh*t.
I like bunny-hopping. Reminds me that Easter is coming.
Maybe. But do you really think that this is ok?
I love hoppin too and hoppers! I listen to house of pain when playing pvp.
Are there people seriously complaining about this??
You people do realise the actual name for this is call "dodging".
Next time im being shot at i must remeber not to make it too hard for them to kill me. Because i would hate for them to feel hard done by because they're not so good at following a moving target.
I don't mind them jumping one bit, let em get on with it. What I don't like is they are super accurate whilst there doing it. There should be an accuracy/aimed accuracy penalty when you jump and for a few seconds after you land.
Might deter them a bit from the mindless jumping
That accuracy is learned...through lots of practice. It's not like you just walk into pvp with ability to shoot straight while hopping. I can't do it...I've pvp'd quite a bit and still suck at it. Others have mastered it...it's their skill, if you will.
Like Claydough said...why make it easier to be killed? I like to stand a bit more still only because it's easier to aim. If I could hop and shoot I would...
My sniper when scoped and jumping shoots just exactly where I'm pointing it, where's the skill in that?
why would I need to learn anything other than pressing space bar makes me jump
