Efficient EGO Levelling, how is it done?
Apologies in advance if this is a duplicate thread (highly likely).

According to some other players, you can't succeed at this game unless you are high EGO level and have weapons of the commensurate DPS level for that EGO rating.

Given that Dark Matter are using me as the world's finest floor polish at every encounter, I decided that further gameplay is not advised until I get that level (whatever it may be).

Since story and arena gameplay is obviously out of the question, what is it that can be done to level EGO efficiently?
Ideally, I'd prefer something that grants high XP versus low time invested, that is my definition of efficient.

I'd also like to avoid repetitious tasks if at all possible (it is most likely not).
I'm not the kind of player who thinks doing the same 2 minute Challenge for hours on end is entertaining.

And yes, I know Weapon levelling etc raises EGO level, but I'm dubious as to the value of using one weapon exclusively until it reaches level 18.
It's dull enough working on that with the Quadbike (I prefer the larger vehicles).
Plus, I like to switch weapons around randomly depending on the needs of the situation or sometimes just to play a little differently.

first things first, this is a mmo and that always means grinding! everyone who asks this question gets this answer from me "grind all your main missions, season missions, side missions, hot shots, races, and every other yellow dot on your map that's not a incursion"! when there is an event try and do all the MAJOR arkfalls. you did not mention your ego level so know this your weapons and shields should equal your ego level as close as possible. and look for the different guides in this forum to learn what nanos have a better effect on what enemies here's a hint dark matter has shields so rad or an elec, fire combo would be good. and as far as what you said about the things you don't like to do, well i'm sorry but to go back to my earlier statement it's an mmo and those things are the very definition of grinding!

    What he said^

But remember, don't Grind for any currency, Trion won't like that. It's why certain places were nerfed.

As far as weapons and shields egos, keep them within 100 of your ego, as that allows them to scale properly. As always: grind! Find a place where the enemies don't give you too much trouble and kill 'em all!

Grind the hell out of the holiday events! Major arkfalls and incursions are great in general, but the holiday events, like the one coming on Feb 8 for two weeks, are especially prime for levelling.

If you want to level quick, you just have to complete your pursuits in an even effective level.

Im not gonna break everything down, but start with the easy pursuits that pay well.

Fresh into the game i head straight for the time trials.
Very very easy ego, gives a good dent in your runner leveling for abit of bonus ego.

Next i usually get the missions out of the way followed by the recorders and such for the area pursuits.

Then hit some clan members up to get all coops.

After that just keep working through the list. All ways look at the map and do ANYTHING that is attactched to a pursuit, like inc and seiges.

Don't grind xp, youll cap it before you finish the pursuits. Delay weapon leveling as long ad you can, use easy weapons first, leave the hard ones like bmgs and infectors until 4k+ minimum.

And most important! Do all your contracts. Do not neglect these to level faster. I think it take 5 weeks from memory to complete these.
