    Why no BOSS loot in instances?
    hey all, im sure this had a thread before, but why are there no loot drops from final bosses in instances? you might as well save yourself the heartache and drop out of the final fight once u have done it once for the achievement and such. I see no need to go through the long fight for no benefit besides the inital.
    Or am i missing some other benefit?

    Not missing anything. It's worse when they do drop something, you can see it flashing yet you cannot touch it.

    they really need more loot drops that don' suck in this game imo.

    You get keycodes, xp and cash once you complete the instance, which means killing the last boss.
    It's worth doing it just for those 5 keycodes imo.

    I can spend an hour or more fighting some giant boss for 5 keycodes, or do one of those random events on the map for 4 and it takes me 2 minutes. Which am I more likely to do?

    Yeah, it's kind of strange playing a game where I don't get excited about items, and I just stack up on EGO points because I don't need them.

    so if they DO drop loot, why do they kick us out of the instance b4 we can loot the loot?

    Wouldnt matter, the loot in this game is boring and so is character progression. Please add depth to both.

    Have to agree with this. It was a nice effort, but it's kind of bland, the loot needs work. I mean getting nothing but shields and grenades from ark falls and getting no loot from dungeons? meh.

    Last boss need to drop loot like arkfall or else there is 0 reason to go after 1-2 runs for the pursuit.AS many mention ths game lack the progression system that mmo players are use too and saldy many wont play again after a while.


    I personaly got 940 ego rating and done every quest and got like 1-2 instance to do then what?


    Im not gona farm arfall all day long or do the small road event forever lol.

    Without good loot or anything i find very little goal left in this game after you beat MAin mission + sides one


    2 things need to happen


    1-Loot from last boos epic-orange chance

    2- weapon xp Reset


    I been buying the same AR from vendor for the last 600 ego rating... cost 1k + 2 mods 500 each and i just redo this till i max XP from it.Why cant i just keep my purple one and mod it then reset XP when im max?

    such a stupid system that aint gona work past 2-3 weeks.

    i dont understand their driving factor behind this either. they tried something new, but it seems to leave ppl wanting.....

    It weird, without gear/weapons progression, it seems like so much is missing. People need a reason to run stuff, maybe add Bosses that have a drop list, anything like that should add to replay value, but alas..to many people love the way Defiance is built, and as long as they can keep the faithfuls content with little to nothing while they spend 15 buck for fluff, things wont change.

    loots fine, if they had traditional MMO loot progression PvP would be impossible until you got endgame gear. its an *fps* mmo the replay content is in pvp and running stuff with friends and clanmates (unti lthey release new content). if you got this game so you could hit a level cap and farm raids for phatty purps you bought the wrong game :[

    also, the game just came out. we haven't seen what in game events will be like, how often they will add content, or what kind of tv series tie-ins there will be. just relax on the "gear is lame" and "whats the point of doing arkfalls/dungeons/anything" threads because you aren't waving around planet-leveling-cannons less than a week after release ya scrubs!

    If im not mistaken all bosses drop loot. The last boss gives you loot automatically when you finish him. Atleast thats what I see. I come out of a dungeon with more blue then I had.

    I'm in the same boat. I'm 7XX and I've done all main/story/side missions. I've done all race challenges to get the black Dodge Challenger. I've done the coop dungeons but they're extremely repetitive and no loot at the end so (as everyone is saying) whats the point?

    Some of the daily contracts are unrealistic, like 24 hours to kill 75 buliwicks (those Dark Matter dual-rocket mechs). That would take like 3-4 hours to do for a few corporate coins to buy blue/purple loot that's not any better then my green assault rifle?!?!?

    You can spend 10 seconds in an arkfall (small or major), kill one thing, and then leave and 30 minutes later when/if it's defeated you get the same loot as someone who spent the entire time in it. Plus all you get [most of the time] are grenades and shields!
