Defiance on Nextgen? (Sorry if this has been discussed)

Right now, the only thing that will bring me back to the PS3 from the PS4 is Defiance, I don't wan to leave it with all the updates that will be come out for the next couple of years (I hope that long atleast)!!

So is there news of whether it will come to next gen?

I would doubt it personally. But as the PS4 will be on a X86 architecture the potential is there as a port should be seemingly easy to do.

How about backwards compatibility? With these consoles coming out at the end of the year i'm sorta got a worry that I will get it and not really come back to ps3 D:
