So I tried running the game again and I clicked update and it's having me download the game again. Is this normal? or should I wait until this issue is over and then retry logging back in?

I know! These issues seem to happen to me as right after I get off work and need to kill some bugs, yesterday AND today, what the heck?
No worries...........just give the poor little overworked hamster some more feed and it will be all good.:p
And give the server a good kick.

Love the game but the chat not working is a massive problem
I used to like the title screen. Now it gives me nightmares.
I give a huge salute to Trion with the constant updates, other companies would wait days to update that leave players having issues in game. The only thing I ask is that if you can put an announcement message in game notifying people that you will be taking servers down at XXXX time. I would rather not be online and get booted from game due to update, this tends to give greater chance for file corruption or things not being saved in game.
