which edition did you get?

So i ordered my copy of the ultimate edition for pc. Can't wait for it to get here.

So I was wondering what you guys ordered?

Limited Edition for the Xbox 360.

Ultimate Edition For 360.

waiting for the xbox 360 beta before i go pre order ... but if i truly love it i am going for ultimate , if i like it i will just get collector edition and if it ok i will get the regular ... i probably will end up with the ultimate but i am still waiting =)

Heh I forgot there is no Ultimate edition for the 360 (wai oh wai not? My laptop isn't good enough for gaming so am I being short changed?). I got the Limited Edition.

Probably the collectors edition for the 360 but if I really love the beta I'll get the ultimate edition.

Amazon shows for the 360 - Normal, Limited (Collectors), Ultimate (unavailable). Where as GameStop shows all three are for the XBox. Unless that 1,200 bits is something amazing I don't need a carrying case I have plenty and Ultimate edition is useless for me.

Pre-ordered Ultimate from the US. Hopefully it doesn't take tooooo long to get to me, but I am probably looking at a week between release and me being able to get on. :/ No impressed at the New Zealand Australia not getting *any* collectors edition of any type that we have heard of. But oh well.

I ordered my Ultimate 360 edition through Amazon while it was only about £60 and now even tho they have upped the price I'm being charged the lower because of the price guarantee thingy. ^.^

I will be getting the Ultimate Edition. about 6 weeks +/- few days away!

i havnt yet got one. im waiting on console beta to make sure im happy with the game on there first before i buy. definatly getting just undecided which platform

Pc standard copy (cheapest) like every other game purchase I make. I don't really feel the need to spend $90 for some dolls and toys.

I will probably get the ultimate edition. Weather its for Playstation or PC is undecided until after the Beta test. I am trying to talk my wife into letting me spend the money on a gamer's Pc. We will see.

lol Ill never understand ppl who have to "talk their wives into" spending their own money...

we have our own paychecks.. as long as the bills get paid every month and groceries are taken care of, whatever she wanst to do with the rest of her money is her business and what i choose to do with the rest of mine is my business.. quite simple

Yeah but I don't buy DLC's I believe games should be completed when released not try to milk us of all our money on content that should have been originally included, that and most DLC's are usually more toward multiplayer which I hate in video games I like story,content and graphics.

umm have you PLAYED an MMO before? so when WoW first came out how t was then is how it should still be now and expansion or new huge areas or gameplay types should never be introduced? yeah thats sure to keep ppl playing for years.

lol and youre playing an MMO but yo dont like multiplayer >.> oookay

I have only played MMO's since they started making the F2P and you do know there is story in most MMO's and they don't require groups. Yeah 2-5 hours of extra content for almost half the price of the game.

im full ok with dlc as long as it is actually worth it... i never tend to buy cod or bf dlc, because it think they are a royal rip. but expansions on others can be worth it. although im long over playing it WoW has always offered great value for money on expansions (ok exlcuding subs)

We do not have her money and my money. It's our money especially when it comes to any big amount. In my marriage we discuss any big expense and see if it is worth the cost. I don't know about you but buying a new computer comes under the big amount profile. Not discussing things is why so many people get divorces these days.

I have the 360 version and the PC version preordered right now. I am waiting to see how the 360 version runs before I commit to that one.

F2P mmos with stories? care to name a few because ever yF2P mmo Ive played was just a grind and PVP fest.. nothing close to story and if theer was one it wasnt a highly involving narrative of the kind of depth that final fantasy xi (and xiv) offered which was just as good if not better than playing an offline FF game.

As for 2-5 hours of extra content.. most MMOs expansions add new areas to explore a HUGE new map exploring by itself should be more than 2-5 hours not counting whatever other content is added with it. As for half the price of the game.. lets see most (console) games cost 59.99.. DLC is generally in the 10 dollar range. Now math isnt my strongest subject but Im sure 10 isnt close to half of 60.

The secret world, Fallen earth, STO, SWTOR. Most dlc cost's about $20 and that's for usually 3 maps, I don't usually see many DLC's for single player content apart from fallout\skyrim to name a few, most seem to be for multiplayer anymore.

secret world and star wars both started off an P2P MMOs so yeah.. go download one of those free to play MMOs that are advertised all over the internet that arent big budget are done by big name companies and I can assure you youd delete that crap before even playing 30 minutes of it lol

Hey there still F2P. And yeah I have never played those low budget once because they look like wow rip offs which I never really played nor liked WOW anyways.

i will likely get the $100 PC version. DLC i can pay for if/when they are released and if/when i want them. if however they release a season pass separate from the big $150 physical bundle, i may purchase that individually, especially if they offer it and its say 10% or more cheaper to buy the season pass verses the content individually.

as for digital download verses the physical copy... im paying for the game and in-game bonuses. personally, i could care less about figurines or cds or posters, so long as my preorder benefits the game for me. hence why i will 90% likely be going for the digital PC download verses the physical copy, plus, costs no gas money to get the digital copy.

will hold off on the purchase however, to see how the game's development is going, and to see more in-game footage (friday has a stream, yay). if the game only looks marginally interesting to me, i will just go with the standard copy.

lol I like how someone can not like a game theyve never played. and while i dont like Wow (ive actually PLAYED it to draw that conclusion) those F2P games are nothing like it, theyre FAR worse.. at least getting to max level is WoW is achievable.. the exp requirements in those other games are so bad it would make you feel like you wouldnt even hit max level in a year

I don't have to play it to know that I wouldn't like it. I have seen plenty of game play video's plus watch a few friends play it and it looks lame. Plus I have never like the whole wizard-goblin type games. I'm more into modern-futuristic type games or post Apocalypse. And I hit max level in in those games i listed in just a few months. Heck STO took me not even a month. My friend when STO came out had 3 full level characters in just 2 months.

I went for the Collector's Edition for Xbox 360. I dont need a Messenger bag haha
