Logged on the game, teleported to clan mate, started shooting enemies, hard froze.
It took all of 2 minutes. I had an image but you can't drag n drop on this site using an iPhone 4.
Just logged back on, joined group and teleported back and group member hard froze.
What kind of twisted game is this?
Tonight, Saturday, 7/30 from 9-11pm est. Hard freeze after hard freeze.
1st one, after event Arkfall, second one, after logging on fresh and doing a trade with a clanmate, 3rd one, after an event Arkfall. Just now I hard froze trying to open the vendor. AGAIN!! That's 4 hardlocks nearly back to back.
What are the Devs doing to prevent this? By the way, I launched the game and everything took 3-4 minutes the render in. I've never had these kind of stability issue or hard locks this bad. I've froze tonight in 2 hours almost as much as I have all week total.
12:38 am Hard froze trying to use the quick matrix menu. This also has happened more than once.
I am sure other people on PS3 are having similar issues freezing at the vendor or using the matrix.

Logged on after a critical error and a hard reset. Went to the fork to claim my weekly for playing the event.
Made some changes in the salvage matrix. Went to sell an item to the vendor and Hard Froze when I pressed square.
This has been happening almost daily now.
1:32ish am est. 8/1
Critical error near the end of an event Arkfall and instead of exiting to the xmb just loaded in from the character screen. Got back to the Arkfall and it was over. I got no rewards. Played the entire Arkfall got nothing. Then, while I was looking through my inventory just to make sure I got nothing I DC'd again.
Now I see why most people don't play the small spawns in arkfalls and only shoot a couple enemies in major spawns. You disconnect an get nothing.

I've been playing Defiance 2 years on a wired connection. Never had this many hard locks before. In fact, I had far less critical errors and hardlocks last year then I've had just in the last 2-3 weeks.
Plus, I can play any other game/online with no hardlocks, no critical errors, no rendering issues. All other devices run smooth with no visible issues. It's literally just this game.
If I had a nickel for everytime I hard froze.....
Well , they are taking away the exchange because it is the obvious answer as to all the hard freezes and stability :rolleyes:

Hard Froze in the inventory menu while attempting to use the quick salvage. Again.
Personally, I don't think the exchange is causing stability issues on ps3. I think all of these players from Dust, useless features like trade chat, quick salvage and old bugs are what's causing it.
I was being my sarcastic self lol ... We all know why exchange is coming down , what we don't know is why the first week of mm was pretty good stability wise than it nosedived , at least for me . Last week was the worse I've ever seen as far as crits etc
5:49 PM EST haven't been on the game since early afternoon. Logged on, sent group invite, pressed button to open loadout screen immediately hard froze. Took less than 1 minute.
I already have a ticket in about freezing trying to use the vendor. I submitted that last week.
This is getting really, really xxxxxx stupid.
CS hasnt answered my ticket and apparently not a single Trion rep on forums cares either.

Relaunched the game from xmb, selected toon, regrouped, guess what? ANOTHER HARD FREEZE!!!

Finally got logged in did a Minor Grid Arkfall, teleported to clanmate for a major event arkfall, about 10k points in critical error. This time it wasn't just me. Clanmate and a gaming acquaintance also disconnected.

Right after reset, did a Silicon Valley in incursion. Drove to Water Temple. Went to open Vendor, hard froze.
This issue was already reported and I got a cookie cutter response of delete te game and game data and reinstall.
Does Trion know how many times I have done this already in the past?
Can I please get someone on CS forums or a dev to help?
Or will I be told to submit a ticket. Btw, it was suggested that I come to forums. Again.

Logged on game and started driving from where I spawned to top notch and hard froze when I started to drive up the ramp. Look less than 2 minutes. PS3 was off all night. No other devices are on. Wired connection.
Logging in again. Let's see how this goes.
10:58 AM during a major Arkfall Hard froze again when using a syphon weapon and in aim mode.
